I am two years out and I do think that once you are awhile out from surgery you don't have all the questions that you do in the beginning and you don't need all the support. I have lost 113% of my excess body weight and have maintained that for over a year. I know that I am in prime time for starting to regain. I fluctuate 6lbs and as soon as I get to that 5 lb gain I start to get nervous and bump my Water up cause I know I must be eating instead of drinking.

I'm two years out and it still happens. It can be loud enough for others to hear if its quite while I'm eating.

I just had my two year anniversary. I was horribly nauseous for about three months. I was taking oral zofran and had a scopalomine patch behind my ear. A lot of my nausea was learning how to eat the beginning is such a learning curve and figuring out when to stop is key especially when you don't have a lot of feeling in your pouch in the beginning to be able to tell you're getting full until its too late so a lot of times you just need to stop eating just because!

Does anyone get an achy pouch during their periods? I am 2 years post op and I have very painful periods of which they just had me start taking naprosyn two days before and the first two days of my period, but my pouch gets really achy and sore during that time too and I forgot to mention it at my two year appointment. Just wondering if anyone else is dealing with this.

I am a med/surg nurse and i took off

My doc put me on a 6 month script for actigall starting right after surgery to prevent this mess! I am surprised to see how many docs don't!Mine too I've had no problems with it

I also had one about a month ago. I think a combo of the catheter and being dehydrated and my drinking enough Water to flush things out. A course of cipro and everythings fine!

One of the things that really pushed me to have surgery was the embarrassment that I felt last summer not being able to ride rides at the amusement park and having to get off of rides because I didn't fit. This all happened in front of friends of ours too. We are on our way home from the amusement park now and I fit on every ride! Even the kiddie roller coaster that I have never been able to fit on! So excited it feels so good!
-
That was my breaking point too and the reason I finally decided to have surgery because I said I wasn't going to go through another summer like that. We go to the amusement park on Wednesday I'm so excited! Congrats!

Tonight we had pizza hut and I had one piece it was stuffed crust I ate the crust too But the piece was just a sliver. I found the first piece I could find. If it is not stuffed crust I cannot eat the crust.

I also have this problem. Right now I am going through a good time and have been able to not buy junk good. My weakness is cheetos. I know they go down easily so it was the first junk food I started having again. So bad but I have not been going to the gas station so that I went buy them and eat them alone. I need to be accountable and eat around others so I eat better.

Nothing but swabs here too. No ice or anything until I passed my barium swallow which I did not pass. I then had to be npo for another 24 hours.

I had one placed during surgery. I was sleeved on Monday it got pulled Wednesday night.

I have to keep reminding myself that I've lost 50 lbs already which is awesome for 8 weeks! If I continue like this it will come off! The compliments from my husband's best friend will have to be enough right now!

I was sleeved 4/22. No problem eating the chicken and shredded lettuce. I have done fine for weeks with shredded wilted lettuce on tacos and sandwiches. I eat the inside not the shell or bread. I was not tempted to eat the taco salad shell. I did have one bite and that was enough. I ate all the chicken that was in the salad and about 1/4 of the lettuce that was in it.

I got the 3 week stall and was fine with it knowing it would pass . I didn't freak out I just went with it. So why am I freaking out over this stall at 8 weeks. Did anyone else have a stall at this time? I know I am able to eat more but obviously I am still nut eating anywhere near what I used to and only drinking Water so having no calories from liquids. I also went back to work 2 weeks ago when the stall started so I'm sure that has something to do with it.

I was a total regular pop addict. I have not had any since surgery I really just stick to only Water because right now everything else tastes so off that nothing tastes good.
