  3. I am not sure if they have crystal lite there.( I am in N.Y.) but any powdered sugarfree stuff to add to water.. I dont feel lightheaded and weak,, but I do get tired..how much water (or water stuff) are you getting in???how much protein? TRY cottage cheese with peaches,, some chili with a little shredded cheese put a couple of spoons greek plain yogurt on it...ricotta bake( ricotta cheeses( 1 cup) ,with one egg mix it up add some seasoning you like (garlic powder , oregano)place in microwave dish add some sauce and shredded cheese and microwave for about 3 minutes.
  4. Hi sory you ae feeling bad ,,it will get better. try your best with the water ,,, crystaln lite , eat sugarfree ice pops ,, decaf ice.d coffee( put unflavored protein in it). whats your favorite food ,,try pureeing it ...I am 5 weeks out an still stuggling with getting all in .
  5. Yeah ,you should ask your surgeon. Everyone is so different . I as allowed purees when i got home from the hospital.. I was one of the lucky ones,,i guess some doctors want you to lose weight quicker oing only clear liquids and shakes. i had no problem but you must eat slow and and a little bit so you can feel when you are full.
  6. I took the gummies the day after surgery . the vita craves taste pretty good(2x a day ) and i bought natures bounty calcium with vit d gummies and they arent too bad. give them a try..
  7. Hi Melissa i had my one month (really 5 week) appt today too. i was cleared for a bunch of stuff too.i got an elliptical.. I hope to start using it , I have been walking as well. but i like it ,I go to the park and its so peaceful.. how are you doing otherwise ???? if you dont mind me asking,,, how much protein and water are you getting in ... ??? and be careful who you knockout with those boxing gloves !!!! LOL

  9. I was sleeved 3/19. I never had to do the liquid thing after surgery .. but still have trouble with water and protein( I still use a protein drink a day )... so lets see what people write to help us.. i aim for 45 g protein and 6 glasses of water.. here are some foods .. greek yogurt, chili with shredded cheeses,, cheese,, ham and cheese roll up,, egg whites with cheese omellete, tuna salad ,, egg salad, cottage cheese,, ricotta bake,some chicken and veggies ... let me ask you how much can you get in at a meal. I use a 1/2 cup for my measurements but sometimes cant do it all.

  11. HI. Dont laugh at me but why not have someone take you on a car ride . the bumps along the way help the gas , move around. It helped me when i got out of the hospital. ( since you cant walk so easily)

Did you try some greek yogurt,,,,get some chili and put some shredded cheese( microwave it) on it and a couple spoons greek yogurt, also cheeses, you can make the ricotta bake ... mix ricotta cheese with an egg add what spices u like( garlic powder , oregano) put in microwave safe plate add some sauce to it top with shredded cheese and nuke it about 3 minutes... yummy..also how about some cottage cheese. Dont be discouraged my surgery was on 3/19/13 and i have lost less than 28 pounds but I am still proud. I have a hard time getting in my water...
  15. I had got diarrhea and i couldnt take it anymore . I made white rice and ate it . i couldnt call the doctor because it was nite time. I did call and tell them the next day . The PA told me to go get some probiotics for my stomache . she had said it was ok that i ate that.. Good Luck
  16. I STOPPED JAN 2 2013.. MY SURGERY WAS 3/19/2013. I HAVE NOT RESTARTED .I AM SOO PROUD AND HOPEFULLY WONT EVER GO BACK..

  19. I dont understand why there are so many different rules.. I was aloud to eat purees immediately. I ate soft eggs the day after my surgery. maybe the clear liquids thing is so u dont dehydrate in the begining but you starve...lol

How about some egg salad ,,tuna salad ,,just make sure you cut eggs up small and chew..also the ricotta bake.. take ricotta cheese add in one beaten egg mix it up ,,add some garlic powder and oregano or any spices u like to it, put in microwaveable dish , then add some sauce that u like and top with shredded cheese. put in microwave around 3 minutes and enjoy..
  21. I USE THE HEALTH NUTS WHEY PROTEIN.. IT IS A STORE BY MY HOUSE( THEY MAY HAVE WEBSITE)... I USE ONE SCOOP ( 19G PROTEIN) WITH 1 CUP OF DECAF COFEE AND 1 CUP SKIM MILK( 8G PROTEIN ) WHIP IT UP AND ADD ICE AND SOMETIMES SOME FLAVORED CREAMERS...27G OF PROTEIN AND YUMMY... CANT TASTE THE POWDER AT ALL.

  23. Yes it is normal .It is all new to us and i believe we all go thru the WHAT THE ^&*(*&&^% DID I DO!!!!!!!!!! but it does get better.. All the rules have been difficult for me to follow ,,hard to get all in ,,in a day but I am trying my best. I am 4 weeks post op. Good luck to you and keep in touch.
