Ok I just found out ill be having surgery around 12 noon today very excited, i also already met Dr Ortiz he speaks perfect English and has an excellent manner was not rushed and answered all my questions, the hospital is pretty nice and looks very clean the nurses that I have seen so far all speak english so far so good will keep you all updated on how things go Sent from my iPhone using VST

Been up for the past 2 hrs can't sleep so excited have to be down in the hotel lobby in 2.5 hrs to meet the van that will take us to the hospital Sent from my iPhone using VST

Just checked in to the Marriott and its a beautiful place and the broth is so yummy but I am trying so hard to not look at the buffet they have set up I actually sat with my back to it something I never do when I eat at a buffet Sent from my iPhone using VST

I too like JC penny they have a huge verity will at least the JC penny's at the mall do I noticed the stand alone stores have cut back on their selections I also like kohl's but I noticed their sizes run smaller then most stores Sent from my iPhone using VST

I'm set for the 18th at mi doctor hospital in TJ with Dr Lopez and Dr Ortiz, Day 3 of pre op and I'm hating my tv all I keep seeing is yummy food on tv WTH I guess I never realized how many commercials with yummy good food were on tv Just keep telling myself I can do it Sent from my iPhone using VST

I went abt 2 months ago to tj when I was working in San Diego after we got off early we all just decided to go on the last minute so non of us had passports all we had was IDs and we got back fine Sent from my iPhone using VST

Ok so I'm trying to figure out how long I'll be out of work after the surgery, I work construction (sewer rehab) and I'm constantly lifting in the 50lbs + range I'm also constantly stretching pushing crawling squatting bending sprinting and lifting my self out or into holes and ditches and pretty much it's a full day at a gym 8-12 hrs a day So with that being said when did you heal 100% to be able to do all of this as my job doesn't offer light duty, the closest to light duty would be driving a semi truck to the job site but then I'd still have to climb in and out of it and strap the load so now that I think about it that would not work unless someone else straps the load for me When did you start doing a full work out with weights for those that have office jobs I'm just trying to see how long I'll be off I know everyone is different but I'm trying to see the average Sent from my iPhone using VST

Your talking about the "milk of magnesium" right? If so I'd say stay close very very close to a restroom because u will be on fire pretty soon the last time I had to take a half bottle of that stuff withn about 4 hrs of taking it boom! and boy oh boy that toilet took a beating

Been lucking around and finally got the courage to post my story and ask my questions So i finally decided to take control of my life I'm hopping this surgery all works out for me I've been on the yo yo diet since jr high at my most I was 5'5 330 lbs 1.5yrs ago but finally opened my eyes when I could not fit in the Disney rocket ride with my 1 yr old and I knew I had to do something about my weight or I would not be around for my family, that same week i was passed on a promotion at work and found out from co workers that our boss didnt think i would be able to "fit" in the sewers ( i work in sewer rehab construction ) as of today I'm 232lbs Ok so I have my surgery scheduled for 3/18 with Dr Ortiz and Dr Lopez, any way I have to go on a pre op diet of Protein Shake for Bfast small fruit for snack, Protein shake for lunch and for dinner chicken breast grilled, then 3 days b4 the 18th I need to do an all clear liquid diet along with a cleanseing. So my question is did you guys have a last hurrah and if so what did you have? I so want to have a last hurrah but I just don't know if I should since that's really what got me here in the first place. All comments are welcome, sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section
