I was healing fine and last few days have lot of soreness and little bit of pain in one spot in stomach. On left side about 1in from belly button in between two of my incisions. Is this normal ? Did I push myself to quickly been doing regular housework and bending etc, and picked up my son once by mistake ?

Yes if bend or twist and slightly tender to touch but doesn't hurt if sitting still.

Yes eating fine (purée) no fever or anything just pain in one spot

I'm 11 days out and on purée stage doing well with, I only eat half a cup. But never feel this full feeling everyone talks about, I'm satisfied. Is something wrong with me? I hear people saying a couple bites and they are done stuffed. I have had no nausea, or pain after eating so guess should be happy and down 21 pounds total so is it just bc not on regular foods yet?

My dr said caffeine was fine could have day after. Just no carbonation until 6 weeks out. So thankful for this.

I was allowed oatmeal and cream of wheat 5 days out, and went down fine. -
Up a pound what ? I know only a pound but discouraging, week and 3 days out and following what dr says, getting fluid and most of protein. Only getting 300-400 calories a day. How could I gain. I have been walking and active. So know burning, I could stand if had stayed same but gaining

6 days post op and down 16 total so happy -
I had my drain out Friday they said to expect some drainage and keep covered until scab, well it don't smell, no fever but when changed tonight it was like red, and green coming out on bandage ..and looks like green around hole? Is this normal ? Should I be scared? Should I contact dr in morning ?

Well not so much bc of drain site my 1 yr old was up and down all night and my stomach is very upset starting early this morning.

Thank u I needed my mind eased, my healing been going so well and this freaked me out I feel like a worry wart but going to make it hard to sleep.

I called hospital that had done at nurse said since not running fever and site doesn't feel hot to touch or look swollen or red to just call dr in morning that sometimes a little green is normal ?

Made it thru 4 days post op of liquid. I had no real hunger I think, Just in my head. So happy to start purée tomorrow yay!!! And thankful my dr is not like some with weeks of liquid. No nausea, little gas and still sore hoping for best tomorrow almost like Xmas lol

So what's everyone's weight loss if any at this point? I went in at 260 came home 265 and this morning 254.2. Five was water weight but needed to see something to know it was worth.

I am 2 days post op and watch my family eat brownies ... Can you say torture.
