I was given a paper to sign at my initial meeting saying I am aware of the side effects and I would quit. As I am going for my Last appointment with my Doctor they sent me for a nicotine test !!! I hear the results this week. I haven't smoked in a while. I just need to hear that I am negative ! My friend got her surgery canceled twice!

I hope I lose lots during my preop. My doctor said he needs me to not be at a certain number or he will send me home. Sometimes I get excited about this preop. Other times I picture myself fainting with dizziness !!! Now I am picturing snapping ! -

What does your preop diet consist of? I need to start mine earlier!! I am freaking out too!!! Tell me everything your doing. -
Ok So i am freaking out! I gained 25 on my food funeral. My doctor said I have to start my preop early. He said if I gain weight he would not do it. I would not be dumb enough to gain weight. How much do you lose during a 2 week preop??? I am doing optifast.
