Have any of you made plans on how to.handle the clothing as we shrink?I have to say' date=' that's a concern for me.[/quote']
I've found a tailor near me for my better clothing. Beyond that I plan to limit myself to wearing my tent size clothes and possibly hitting up the clearance racks at Walmart occasionally. I've heard of others going to goodwill for the in between clothes, but I'm not sure i can handle other people's clothing.

Tijuana with Dr. Fernando Garcia. I'm excited and terrified. I've seen lots of people prepped way ahead of time for this surgery. I just scheduled the other day and it seems eons away, but it's just five short weeks away!

March 28th!!!!!!!!! Can anyone tell I'm excited?!

I am getting sleeved March 28th in Tijuana. I live in Chandler, work in Scottsdale. Are there any support groups in the area? Are you all still thinking of starting one? I'm worried about my post op activity and weight loss. I don't want to be that person who fails.

iPhones have FaceTime. It's also similar to Skype. But it's pretty spotty, cuts out way too much. Google Plus is much better, I think. And anyone with a smart phone can download the app.

I'm flying through Denver on United on the 29th Questions I have are' date=' do we tip the driver, will I get to wear my underpants, and how much is texting going to cost me, oh and whether I'm going to wake up after surgery. Just the little things!Deborah[/quote']
Deborah,
I just found out how much texting and calls will get me for! 50 cents a text and $2.29 a minute calling! I have a Sprint iPhone and the very helpful young man there told me that my best option was to buy a phone card in Mexico for calls. And also to block my services after landing in San Diego. But, I will be able to access any wifi around to get on Facebook or google plus. iPhone has messaging phone to phone. And google plus has an awesome chat that is similar to Skype, but much more efficient.

I look forward to meeting all of you! I'm a little apprehensive about going alone to Mexico and going through surgery without any loved ones by my side. I'm grateful ya'll will be there going through similar experiences.

I've never had to wear compression stockings before, so I had to google all the different sizes and uses. I finally decided what I needed and went shopping online. Boy oh boy, they are bland and UGLY for the most part! I finally discovered some blue leopard print! Ordered them from rejuvahealth.

Me I am!!!!! I was waiting to see if someone else would be there. I am gonna schedule for the 29th. So you can fly in the same day of surgery. I may consider that too. Where are you coming in from? And what time do you have to fly in by in Order to have surgery the same day.I'm flying in from Phoenix, arriving in San Diego around nine am. I proposed that time to alma when I was scheduling and she said it would be fine. I'm not sure if there is a time limit. The only additional thing she said is that I will need to wear compression stockings in flight. As well as adhere to the no food or drink for eight hours (that will be tough, I always get dehydrated while flying).
I look forward to meeting you! Where are you coming from? Are you traveling alone? I will be:)

I just got everything set to have surgery on March 28th. A stay for the weekend, I need all the rest I can get, then back home on Monday the 1st of April. I then looked at the calendar and realized I will be there for Easter! Just as well, I'm getting the greatest gift I can possibly imagine.
Anyone else in for and egg hunt at the Tijuana Marriott?

Confirmed and scheduled! I fly in to San Diego 3/28, surgery same day with Dr Garcia. Fly out April first.

After even more research I am still going with Fernando Garcia. I spoke with Alma today, she was most helpful in answering my questions. I am going to schedule sometime mid April, as soon as I can confirm time away from work. I am very excited! This is the ultimate solution to my lifelong battle with weight.

I've been researching the lower cost doctors in Tijuana. I've come to a point where I don't know if I'm going to go with Fernando Garcia or Ismael Cabrera Garcia.
Any thoughts?
Any March Sleevers?
