I'm not a big veggie fan either. I do like green beans with a little butter and garlic salt. Steamed carrots are pretty good too.

I have mine tomorrow morning-I'll post my experience too. Been told by many that it's a piece of cake so trying not to be too nervous.

I feel the same way, trapped in this body that's holding me back hoping this surgery will change my life. I have anxiety and depression too. We CAN do this!!

Well I would say if you want the sleeve, don't let a paperwork error change your mind. I would Start making phone calls and get it straightened out. What a mess, I feel for you.

I have my egd next Thursday and I'm pretty nervous. Can anyone tell me about their experience? I'm told I will be put to sleep which really scares me, I guess I just don't like not being in control. I'm going to try my best to stay calm and get through it. I really want this surgery so I need to get over my fears somehow.

Hi Alex! I'm preop too with an estimated late July surgery date. Don't worry we all feel the same way about the preop diet and complications. There are lots of vets on here that are great about calming our fears and being supportive. You will do great, welcome to the boards!

I have one on the 16th of may. Glad you posted, i was curious what it's like.

If they use staples and then sew over the staple lines, if they give you meds to prevent gallbladder issues, do u need a drain, swallowing any meds you may take...can't remember what else but it's a start
