Deedee, thank you so much for your kind words! I frequently go to the Tuesday 10:30 support group (will be there this Tuesday) and I have my pre-op appointment this Tuesday after group. I'm going through this journey with my best friend and she is also getting sleeved on the same day & same hospital as me with Dr. Weiss!
Awesome! I love Tristate & was also sleeved by Dr. Weiss. I was so desperate that I was going to do bypass. 2 months before my surgery he let me know that my insurance now covered the sleeve & he thought it would be better for me. I think that he & the team at Tristate are awesome. I hope that your surgery & healing go as well as mine did! Keep me updated & feel free to message me. Who knows.
