I'm from Alberta and I was sleeved on Feb 11/13 in Medicine Hat. I'm down 16lbs since surgery and 32 lbs including pre-op. Feeling great!

My last c-section was 3 years ago, so I remember it quite well...c-section is alot worse...,you'll be fine!

Nut told me to follow Dr orders but try to sip on Water thru out the day. So, I'm doing 1 oz Protein drink/hr and about 16oz of water thru out the day....fingers crossed. Btw, she called him 2x to clarify this is really what he wants me eating - he said yes. He doesn't want to risk my pouch stretching and damaging the stitch line. Also, no Vitamins until I'm on food.< /p>

I always tan 2x per week to keep my eczema under control...just wondering if anyone knows when it might be safe to start again. I'm 9 days post-op

Can't believe it's already been 7 days. I've been back to work since day 5. I feel real good except the obvious pain from incisions and where my port had to be dug out. I've lost 29 lbs since February 4th and 14 since surgery day on the 11th. Two more weeks of liquid only and then onto my running program. Currently weigh 259lbs at 6'1.I was sleeved on the 11th as well...can I ask, how much liquids are you allowed to eat for the next 2 weeks. I'm limited to 1oz per hour and no Vitamins until I get back to food...is this similar to you?

He told me 60ml every 2 hours which means 1 oz per hour...I think it's too little too, I'm heading to the nutritionist this afternoon

I see people saying they are drinking 100 oz of Water a day...I am 4 days post op and my Dr told me 60ml of clear fluids every 2 hours for the next 3 weeks...and he wasn't concerned about Protein. This doesn't seem right based on everything I've been reading. Can you please tell me what you've been eating from 4 days post op and on

Absolutely JDoll How are you doing on yourPre op diet?
Pretty good...I have lost 13lbs, so I'm quite happy with that - luckily for me I quite like the Protein Shakes, so it hadn't been too bad. How about you?

My surgery date is on Feb. 4th and have been on the pre op diet for 12 days. Just Protein shakes' date=' broth and sugar free Popsicles. The first 3-4 days were tough with headaches but drink lots of Water and they go away. The cravings as well. I am from Saskatchewan, Canada. getting a little nervous about the surgery and just want to get it done and focus on what's ahead.[/quote']
Good luck! Glad to find another Canadian in here!

My sleeve is scheduled for Feb 11 in Alberta, Canada. I have been on a self-prescribed liquid diet since Monday (as my Dr doesn't require it, but said it would be a benefit). I have cheated a couple times, but overall it's been ok. Anyone else from Canada? I'm 35, 5'6 and 244lbs with a goal of 150lbs!

I started tanning about 2 weeks after my surgery and I had no issues. I covered and still do cover my incisions, but I've gone 2x a week for 5 weeks now.
