I'm from rockland...I used dr. Pucci...I was sleeved on feb 2013....I haven't lost what I wanted to but lost 90lbs....about 10 months into my recovery I had severe back injuries that prevented me from going to the gym and I have not been allowed to go back
I was going to use Dr. Pucci but he kept trying to push me into the lap-band & lied & said the sleeve surgery was not covered by my insurance when it was. I am glad you had a good experience with him!!! & congratulations on wonderful success thus far & may you continue to be blessed through the future!!!!
Which pucci there are three? I used Anthony and loved him...he never pushed me into anything when I met him....everyone has different experiences too.

Hey deedee muffin I'm from rockland as well. For me I want kids so there would be no point to get the plastic surgery until I'm done having children

Heyher: I feel your pain..I must drink at least 64oz a day if not more..I sleep with a 32 oz bottle of Water and its usually half full by the time I wake up...NO matter what I drink its not quenching that thirst..I'm going crazy..I feel so thirsty but I know I'm not...maybe I'll try a fudge pop..I'm at a loss

I'm a big baby and had my first surgery in may, my gallbladder, lets e tell you that was horrible I was barely walking after two weeks, I was in a wheelchair for a while because my tummy hurt so bad. This surgery I was walking the next day and hardly any pain when I got home...I had the drain in for a week..now that's a weird feeling when it's being pulled out..I had glue holding my incisions, one incision rejected it and it has just now finally healed completely. Good luck!

I thought it would be hard to be around food too so while I was on my post op liquid diet I secluded myself, which I found made me worse. I wanted to be near people and I'm going to have to learn to make the decision to say no so why not start early....if I can do it you can do it!!

I'm so afraid of this..thankfully I have a planet fitness near me and with the 20/month plan you can have an unlimited guest, tanning and a trainer...pretty good deal so when I'm off total restriction (3 weeks from now) I will ask the trainer...Can't wait!!!

Yeah for a while sex was what I did..No complaints from my hubby..he misses that..It is so hard to explain unless you experience it..I took have tried other alternatives but Ambien works, and sometimes even it doesn't help. Thankfully i never put my car keys in the same place and half the time can't fnd them so driving will probably never happen with me. It is scary though

Trazadone doesn't do anything for me either

I've been having salads all week I'm about to be 6 weeks..I've been tolerating foods quite well!! I did have pizza...1/2 a slice though which a side salad...things are very different!!! FYI I did have frozen yogurt the other day..sugar free/fat free and I don't feel one ounce of guiltiness, oh and the kicker I'm still losing LOL

prior to me having this surgery I was in the hospital for an ulcer, which thankfully i decided to have surgery they found out I had H. PYlori, which the hospital didn't even find but my doc prescribed Nexium for the reflux, but did my insurance cover it NOPE, then I ended up in the hospital with an ulcer which probably would have been prevented with the nexium, love how they'll spend that extra money for my hospital stay but not the medications.

I feel amazing..I have days where I am reminded that I had surgery 6 weeks ago..I've lost 32.4 lbs...we actually joined Planet Fitness...20 bucks a month and we both get to go, cheapest gym around Rockland..If and when you have surgery and ever need someone contact me I can help. I'm on normal food. I try not to deprive myself of food, this evening I had half a sausage link (normal size) and 2 piergoes (sp?). Normally we have a salad but I don't have the starch. I'm not a morning person so I sleep through Breakfast, which is hard because Im hungry around 10pm since technically that would be MY dinner time. 've just ran out and gotten a lot of 100 calorie Snacks so when I sub I can throw it in my purse and eat that and I know exactly how much I eat. The chewing I know I'm really bad with, I haven't gotten sick or anything from it YET and I hope not I try when I think about it.
Taking pills is hard, currently I'm battling bronchitus and having to take my prednisone and levaquin on top of my supplements is HARD. My Vitamin and Calcium are HUGE and to be quite honest sometimes I dont take them all.. I do make sure to take my hair, nails and skin supplement. I'm so scared of losing my hair, thats my main concern (how shallow right?)
You are so luck to have a little girl. That is the reason I had surgery, I want kids and at 30 I'm not getting any younger. If you don't mind me asking how old are you? PM if its easier..just thought of that LOL

Thanks I appreciate your kind words although I didn't go through what you did..I hit an all time low right before I decided to have surgery..I wasn't myself, and I"m glad to be off those damn drugs. I'm so happy and still have some bad days every now and then but Ill work through it..I too am not working, actually I sub and work an afterschool program but its not much money..its gas money for my husband and I.

Thanks..yeah the day I was off Cymbalta I was so proud of myself..I felt better and just tried to figure out how to deal with my life without those medications. I may still need them someday but for now I don't..I ad to learn that the meds can't control me!! I will see about Lunesta..I think I'm afraid of not sleeping!
