I understand the foods that I've listed are bad...I'm keeping it real on here by being honest with myself and this online community. Thank you for the breakdown of the caloric intake that was that meal...I'm very well aware of the content though. I wouldn't say 'attacked' but there's no reason for the judgemental b.s. and condescending stupidity from others- I thought that this was a place to come to for help and lifting up...to me, when others throw that garbage out there, it just shows that they may have their eating priorities in place but not their attitudes. Good for you for coming at this with that wonderful attitude...sometimes myself and probably others on here (I may be wrong) need to regroup and get back to that mode of thinking.

A little yesterday but feel so much better. I will not let food control me.
I know if I make the right choices I will do better at weight loss. I've been upset at myself at all the wrong foods I have been eating.
    I can so this!!

I know I am preaching to the choir, but you need to make a conscious deliberate decision about succeeding. There is no part way. Time to rededicate yourself to the basics. 80 g Protein, 64 oz Water at a minimum. Eat veggies and cut out sugar, breads and starches. If you manage good carbs that are low GI, you should eat those. Exercise for minimum 30 min a day, even if just a walk. Time to succeed!

Just a little suggestion to the slow looser. If there is any bread, rice, Pasta, or heavy carbs in your diet remove them 100% focus on just the fish/chicken and veggies make sure you get in at least 64 ounces of Water replace a meal with a Protein Shake replace a heavy calorie meal with a fat free greek yogurt. You can't claim your a slow looser if you still have heavy carbs in your diet, your making yourself a slow looser because you still want the foods that caused you to be heavy in the first place. remove them and you will be fine. Just a suggestion. This is your journey and its up to you to really want it! Trust me I crave carbs all the time but I want the weight loss more then the carbs you have to make a choice on how serious this journey is for you. When you can say for Breakfast i had a shake and for lunch i had fish and veggies and for snack I had a greek yogurt and for dinner i had baked chicken and veggies for a week and am still a slow looser i then feel your pain but folks say they slow but have bread, rice, pasta, and so on and wonder why? Wonder no more guys. CHANGE YOUR DIET! I am not trying to be hard on anyone but it kills me when people say they a slow looser but their carbs outweigh their Protein on their myfitnesspal food intake diary.

dparonyan got a reaction from Kristina J. in weight loss after band to sleeve
    Hi
    I had my revision Dec. 11, 2012
    I've lost about 50 lbs
My LAPBAND had moved up to my esophagus and had started heart complications. I was very lucky to have figured it out after years of trying to adjust my band and couldn't keep Water down until past 1pm.
I am very happy with my decision. I love my sleeve. I've stalled sometimes but I believe that's normal. My nutritionist recommended I start liquids again. I've noticed sometimes I do get back into bad habits if I don't have my food planned and ready to eat. I have a very busy day usually on the go and I tend to fall off the wagon and then hate myself for it. Today is a new day and I plan on trying to do my liquid only day.

Be careful, that is one of the only ways the sleeve can be defeated. Try drinking low cal drinks and Water instead. My regular doc taught me that thirst can be mistaken for hunger. He was right.
Also, be sure you are up on Vitamins and minerals. Cravings can be based there.

I needed to read this today! I am one of the lower BMIers but have felt very discouraged lately. I started at 206 and am currently at 150 (sleeved 10/26). I want to lose at least 30 more. My scales haven't moved more than a couple pounds each month for 2-3 mths now. I will be at my 6 mth surgeriversary next week..I'm gonna try to go back to the basics, liquids only for a few days to see if I can get my body to start loosing again..

I suggest everyone calm down and tame the arguing.
Weight loss is not easy, whether you have surgery or not. There is no one method that works for everyone. Just because something worked for "John" doesn't mean it will work for "Jane". Our bodies are all different, and we cannot and should not compare our losses to anyone else. Look at my stats, and how far out I am, I am one of the slowest losers I know. But that's okay, I am still over 100 pounds down from when I started and still rocking my sleeve. I'm not in this to win a race, I'm in this to get and stay healthy.

I am almost afraid to admit I ate about 10 crackers with Peanut Butter over the course of this weekend in a PMS induced eating frenzy, for fear that someone will remember 8 months from now and cite it as my reason for not losing my last 3 pounds. I lost those three pounds this weekend, but those crackers will surely be the reason I can't get to goal.
    Te hee!
Okay maybe it was 20 crackers, but who is counting.
    Oh wait, someone is!!!!!!!!!

Pear shaped that's me! My hips and arse ain't moving...
My name is Tamara and I am a slow loser
LMAO! My doc thinks I am on target and that is all that matters. We are on the sleeve forum not the bypass forum! I don't know why there is a belief that we are slow! The sleeve produces slower results. Not everyone will get to goal in 6 months and I be damned to feel like a failure! I had to step away from the forum to regroup and realize that I am an individual. This journey is different for us all.
We GOT this!!!! Hail to the "slow" losers!!!!
