I've had to buy new clothes. Gave away 4 large black trash bags full of clothes the were way too big. Yay!! Haven't gone too crazy in the shopping dept. went from a size 20 pant. I'm now a 14. But plan on going down more sizes.

I was sleeved the 13th of March. I am down 75lbs!! Woo who!!!! Starting weight 258 lbs. I'm 55 and loving my sleeve. I would do it all over again. I have no complaints at all.

I use premium Protein Shakes from Costco.they are pre-made in a carton 11oz. I keep several in the fridge and have a small cooler that I take with me if I'm going to be away from the house. You can buy the bags that you can put right in the freezer. I got mine at target. They work great.

You want to buy it as an essential oil. Health food stores carry it. I buy mine from Camden grey.com. But most health food stores carry it.

Yes. Lavender oil. It works great. I've been using it for years.

I'm 5 weeks out and have been on soft foods for a week. I have one more week of soft then on to regular food. Yay! My first soft food was an one egg omelet with cheese. Yummy. I have had no issues at all with food. I've been eating for lunch and sometimes dinner 2oz of paper thin sliced turkey ( lunch meat) with 1 oz slice of muenster cheese roll it up yum. Fills me up.

I wore the same thing home. Yoga pants comfy T-shirt. I'm 5 weeks out and still wear stretchy pants ie yoga workout pants. My jeans bug my belly button incision still when I sit down. Just be comfy.

I was sleeved on 3/13 and it took me 3 1/2 weeks to finally start feeling normal. I'm 55 and I think age has a lot to do with recovery time. I'll be 5 weeks out tomorrow and I'm feeling good. It has helped that I've started soft foods. I drink my Premier Protein shake from costco for breakfast. At least I know I'm getting 30gm of Protein in right off the bat in the morning. The rest of my protein comes from food. Make sure you are taking your multiple Vitamin. My dr told me to take two a day even tho it's only a once a day vitamin. It helps. Hope you get back on your feet soon.

I was sleeved march 13th. And I have the same pain. I asked about it when I went for my 1 week post op. he said it was my spleen shrinking. And that they cut blood vessels during surgery. And the spleen pain would go away in up to 6 weeks. Sorry your going through this I feel your pain.

You'll do great I am 4 days post op. the worst is the gas. Use Gas X strips. They help a lot. I started my full liquids today. My favorite thing to drink is chicken broth. I tried watered down apple sauce a lot and sipped it with a spoon. I couldn't finish it. Trying to get down 4 oz of liquid every hour for 11 hrs is a challenge. Just takes some getting used to. Good luck!

You look amazing!!!

Hi everyone. I was sleeved yesterday. And came home today. Today the gas pressure is horrible. GasX strips helped. And walking. Still feel crappy though.

You will be surprised to see how quickly the time actually does go by. (Of course sometimes it might seem to last forever but in general it will go by quickly) Today is my 5 month anniversary for my sleeve and I can not believe how fast it went nor how different my body looks. Take pics of you now and along the way. I have taken them on each month anniversary as well as measurements. It helps to keep you motivated! Keep us informed on how you do!Thank you that is great advice.
