  2. I leave on Monday for San Diego. I just got home from my week at my client site. My box from Uninjury arrived and I started packing it for my trip. It is start to hit me that this is really going to happen. So, I know how you feel. I am pretty psyched and excited. I am more anxious about the post-experience with my hectic work / travel schedule. I will managed somehow.

  3. I personally would not do the Mexico thing. If your insurance or the sixties office can get it covered, then why not???? They don't call this the greatest country in the world for nothing! The US has agencies to ensure a certain quality of healthcare is received and if not the sic can be held accountable. You got no protection in Mexico. It's your choice but you wanted opinions and that's mine. I wish you the best!!!!

I agree. My situation is different. There is no way I want to gain from a 32 BMI to 40 BMI to qualify. If you have less than 10lbs to gain, do it. And, wait the 6 months.

  4. I am on the 29th. I fly down on the 28th to San Diego and then get a shuttle ride to MX. I have a lower BMI so they said I didn't have to do the week of pre-op liquid diet, just two days of clear liquid. But, I decided to try the liquid pre-op diet to give myself a kick-start on the weight loss and get mentally set for next phase of my life and new lifestyle. I wasn't perfect yesterday, but hey it is a start.

I am nervous, but more anxious about handling the diet afterwards as I travel every week for work. I am at my client site from M-F every week. I stay in a hotel. I have prepped as best I can with bullet like blender at the client site, Protein Powder, chicken broth etc.

  5. When I was on puree I just tried to keep it simple, did mostly canned meats. Obviously tuna, then they have in the same type of cans as tuna, chicken, turkey, ham and roast beef, They were all pretty good in my opinion. The other thing I really liked was the underwood roast beef spread. For me puree was only 2 weeks so between these, egg salad, scrambled eggs and some canned no bean chili I just kept it simple and made it through to the next phase. Good Luck.

Did you have to blend the canned meats or are they mushy enough?

  6. I used a bodybugg 2-3 years ago. Got down to 153. But, then started traveling for work, stopped wearing it, <big sigh> and now I am here. I gave a friend a FitBitt for XMAS 2 years ago. She loved it, her only complaint was it was so small she kept losing it. She just told me she is getting the new one since it can be worn on your wrist. She thinks she might avoid losing it.

Anyhow, I just dug out my bodybugg, charging it up and will add this to my weight loss tool chest. Thank you for the thread to remind me that this can help in my weight loss journey.
