I have a very demanding carrer too. I fly every week to my client site and live out of a hotel from M-F. I have dinner events I had to attend while on the full liquid stage. I managed. You can too. I know if I hadn't done this surgery I would have gained 10 lbs instead of losing 20.

I saw that too. The article I read specifically mentioned the Reun Y (spelling ??). I hope it applies to the sleeve.

The first 6 weeks are the high risk zone. I think after 3 months we should be clear

I have around a 1000 calorie or more deficit each day. I should be losing 2 lbs steadily each week. While I lost more in the beginning, my weight has slowed down to around 1lb a week. This week I stayed the same. When I used my bodybugg before WLS, I would lose very close to what my calorie deficit. I am wondering what gives this time around. I thought I would see what others are experiencing.

I really enjoyed reading this thread. While it was started a couple of years ago, it truly applies to me and I am sure several others folks on VST.
I am hoping I don't lose hair since I am a slower loser.

It is an armband tool that can sync to your smart phone that calculates calories burned, steps taken, minutes of activity. Then you enter the food you eat (calculates the breakdown of calories, Protein, carb, fat, calciium etc). Then, if you have a deficit ... Burn more calories then you eat you should lose weight

eh i'm still supposed to be on full liquids for 2 more weeks' date=' been on liquids for a total of 6 so far.... I'm currently eating blended potato Soup that has not been strained...so that's 2 strikes. should have just been the cream of the potato and not the potato and I didn't strain it. It's not all that lumpy and i chew the crap out of the lumps BECAUSE I CAN...i've missed chewing, give me a break.oh and no no's....yeah I had a hershey's chocolate bar on 2 separate occasions...Yes the whole bar and while it took me a little to eat it, I suffered no real difficulties...I'm not even sure I'm remorseful. This diet has been hell, I see a bunch of people crab about the week long preop, I'd just like to say to them, "that's just the warm up!" but then I think or right, it's really just my dr that has us do 8 solid weeks of liquid diet post op. I have a bone to pick w/ my nut who had the balls to say to me that she gets no complaints on the liquid diet stage about the 8 weeks they keep us on it...[/quote']

Good luck Aprill OCC'rs. I was sleeved January 29, 2013. I am done nearly 20lbs since the start of fthe journey. Very happy.

Yep, I had blurry vision too. It cleared up after couple of days.
