  1. Mine is tomorrow at 7:30 also. I'm so ready to do this. Getting a little nervous! I pray that we will all have a safe day.

I got nervous kissing my babes goodbye, but I am one right now. I will get nervous right as they are getting ready to give me an iv, at least that is how it happened with my 2 c sections :)

  2. I am March 4th at Saint Vincent's Charity, in Cleveland, OH. I just had my day of pre-surgical testing and am so excited, and much less nervous. I started ordering/ buying my supplies and what not, things like a robe, gauze pads, and Protein Shakes. I know the next 2 weeks are going to fly by, but I feel like I can hardly wait to gets started and on my way. Don't get me wrong, I know it is going suck for quite awhile, but I am so ready to start this journey!

  3. I have been worried about this as well, but do not have any great answers. Would be interested in hearing some real facts around what causes Hair loss. I can say that did experience a lot of hair loss around my 2 c-sections when I had my kids. I attributed it to the hormones, but have seen learned that just having surgery in general can cause it. Would be interesting if there was something I could do to be proactive. That being said, I was no where near needing a wig. And it all evened out around 4-6 months.

  4. I just got my date today too! March 4th, which feels like eternity, considering I started this process back in May of 2012! They put me on a cancellation list! LOL! If they get a cancellation, they will call me, and I would have to go in the next day for my pre surgery testing and the surgery would be the next week. Fingers crossed someone cancels and I can get all my ducks in a row to have it a little sooner!

  5. I can sympathize with you. I too struggle with who to tell that I am having the surgery, which should be happening in the next month. (I just completed my 6 months of dietician visits and received approval from insurance). I have received mixed comments from the people I have told, and unfortunately it is the negative ones that hurt the most. I don't want to tell everyone that I know that I am having the surgery, but I also don't want to be dishonest about how I lost the weight because I know the questions about how I did it are going to come. I also would appreciate any advice in this area. Thus far I have only told close friends, my family, and my manager.
