  1. 10 min between bites?? I was told ago only take 20 min to eat a meal, so that would me only 2 bites! lol
  2. I still eat relatively the same way as before surgery. Maybe a little slower. I have great restriction and consistently losing so I'm not questioning it.
  3. Very true! I'm now down to 246!!! . Even if I lose slow, I'm still a loser!!
  4. Do you log in my fitness pal? When I "cheat", I hold myself accountable and count it towards my daily calories/carbs. I had my surgery July 3, 2013 and have cheated a couple of times. A spoonful of regular ice cream, or a couple of wheat thins, or 1 mini ravioli, but I log it in MFP so I know how to gauge my eating for the rest of the day. Even on the days I "cheat", I'm still under 800 calories. I'm sure prior to surgery, we've all been guilty of eating 3,000+ calories! Don't be too hard on yourself.
  5. For purée I ate... Purée egg salad Purée chicken salad Retried Beans with melted cheese Ricotta cheese with a little sauce and cheese Greek yogurt Sf pudding No sugar added fudge pops Cottage cheese Lots of cream Soups (my fave was purée broccoli cheddar) Purée meatloaf with gravy Purée meatball with sauce Purée chicken or turkey with gravy Purée vegetable soups sugar free apple sauce
  6. 1- I drink tons of crystal light because I don't like plain water either. 2- I'm 8 weeks out and still exhausted! I've heard Vitamin b12 helps 3- it depends what stage your on.. Full liquids? Purée? Soft foods? 4- I wasn't cleared for any exercise, besides walking, until 6 weeks.

  8. That's awesome! Dd your insurance cover it? If not how much was it? If you don't mind me asking..
  9. I'm only 8 weeks out, but I know tummy skin will be a problem. I'm only 23, but had 2 kids only 2 years apart (both csections). After already losing 51lbs, I can already see my tummy getting saggy. So my questions are What's recovery like? Was it covered by insurance? Wats the pain in comparison to a csection? Thanks!
  10. I'm in the SAME situation! Lol. My older son starts pre k next week, and I just found a gym i like that has a daycare for my 15 month old!! I figure that dragging my butt out of the house to bring the oldest to school will give me no excuse to go to the gym!
  11. It may have caffeine in it. Double check if your not supposed to have caffeine
  12. Thanks everyone! I just called the gym I wanted to join and they give you 1 free evaluation by a trainer when you join as a new member. So Hopefully he can set me up with something I can do on my own. Do I tell him I had surgery? Will it matter?
  13. 8 weeks out and have only walked. I'm joining a gym next week and really don't know where to start. The gym charges a lot for a personal trainer, about $110/ session so I am trying to avoid that. I'm 51lbs down, with about 100lbs to go until my personal goal. I want to know the fastest way to burn fat, while avoiding loose skin. I've had 2 csections, so I know my tummy will be a problem area. Any suggestions or routines for beginners?? Thank you!
  14. I was cleared for all and any exercise at 6 weeks
  15. I see some serious shopping addictions in all of our near futures! Lol
  16. Anyone else sleeved July 3?? I feel like m losing really slowly HW 299 Surgery day weight 289 CW 250-252
