I'm not walking into the middle of this one, but my own personal experience (and thats all I feel qualified to comment on) it has not been cheep. but each to there own. I also have lots of foods/drinks I can not tolerate or stand or am allergic to.. I cant take fruit or lactose or soy, tons of food coloring's and the taste of ANY flavored waters are to strong and make me gag.....every single person is an individual xoxox

A couple of points:
--Do not buy a lot of Protein drinks or powders. You may not like them and you will be able to get your Protein from food once you are allowed to eat regular food.< /p>
--Because you may not like the protein supplement you buy, either be determined to use it and not waste it or buy from a place like GNC which gives full refunds on products you don't like. Those stores are more expensive but may end up costing less if you become picky after surgery.
--Once past the protein supplement stage you will find that you save big time on groceries and restaurants.

I've had a rough time so far. Had a few bites of cheese and pepperoni. I figured it's at least low carb. I am trying like hell to not cave again. Our stomachs are still normal size with normal hormones...definitely not easy. So proud of all you that can do the 2 week liquid diet without faltering.

Hi I've yo yo'd since I was sixteen. The most I've lost is 60 on one diet. I gained it and much more. I don't have a lot of advice. I can tell you that this forum will probably be a lot of help, and support groups in your town. I am feeling scared and excited. Coming back to this forum really helped me. Support and more support!

January 23rd for me!!!!! I wish it were sooner as I find myself falling into the "eat while you can" trap daily and don't want to put on another 10 pounds before I start my pre-op diet. Anyone else having a hard time with this?

Happy New Year!!!! I was sleeved on Dec 3, weighting 215. As of yesterday, 197! Yeaaaaaaaa, finally after ten years I see the one's again. Thanks to the sleeve, I have no regrets. My doctor said due to my low bmi I may lose slower, but thats good still. I am happy and thankful. Good luck everyone, may the new year bring, better health and prosperity!!!
