I know some people have it easy and some have it hard but I really wish I could have had it easy! The worst part has been the gas pain, nothing seems to work. I can't expand my lungs all the way due to the pain so I just keep hyperventilating! And just think I thought I was this big toughie who had two kids no pain meds. I would pop out five more easy to have this pain over!

I will walk more I have been walking 15-20 mins every hour and for a while it worked then all of a sudden I got hit with this whammy!

Yes I have been on and off the heating pad and nothing, it really feels like I'm being strangled!

I am hunched over in pain from the gas and I don't know what I can do more to get it out I have tried Gas X, and walking!

If anyone knows any tips to help me with the gas I am open to any suggestions. I had surgery yesterday and I am walking and taking Gas X but I am still in pain! Pre op weight 246, surgery weight 224, Goal 160, surgery 2/6/13

I was also sleeved yesterday and I am still in the hospital and no way should you feel guilty I am also having bad gas pains an its like being ripped apart. I just had 1/4 of a sf popsicle and the pain is unbelievable! The best you can do is take care of yourself! Mine was 14,500 and I my insurance also covered all but 10% so I had to pay 300.00 surgeon fee and a 1,000 hospital fee! Pre op weight 246, surgery weight 224, Goal 160, surgery 2/6/13

I am sore but feeling good. I have been making a point to walk 15-20 mins every hour to help with gas because the pain from gas is terrible. Second day post op up early and getting my walk on! These people told me they have never seen anyone walk as much as me. I tell you what though I have had no more gas bubbles though! Pre op weight 246, surgery weight 224, Goal 160, surgery 2/6/13

That was so me also! And I fretted over food being so sad thinking of my fav plate at Olive Garden that I will never be able to eat again! But I got sleeved yesterday and trust me it all goes out the window and in comes some new ones.... You will be fine! You will lose weight! You won't accept anything less than being healthy!!
