I had my surgery on January 25, 2013, and I recently just went to my 6 week follow up where they done blood work. Today I received the results, and it showed I had a Vitamin D Deficiency. Also, I have lost 37 pounds since surgery, but the scale hasn't went down any in about two weeks... in fact it went up a couple of pounds. I was wondering if the Vitamin D Deficiency would slow my weight loss?
Also, I was looking at the rest of my blood work, and the WBC, RBC, RBW was high? Has anyone experienced this, and if so what does it mean when that is high? I was just hoping that didn't mean that something was going wrong after surgery.
Thanks for all the help!!

I had the dimple in my stomach also, and my doctor told me it was normal, that it should go away. I never had the problem on my left side, but I have saw many posts about pain around the shoulder area.

Does anyone know of good Protein Bars to buy at Wal-Mart? Also, If your not buying your Protein Bars at Wal-Mart, where do you get your from? I would like to try a small amount before I purchased a huge amount or I pay a huge price.
Thanks,
Katrina

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if my recovery has been normal. I had my surgery on Jan. 25th, and had extreme pain on my left stomach muscle. It hur when I got up and down, when I just moved, and so on. Well, I was hoping it would have been better in a couple of days, but today is February 12th, and although it's not as bad, it still hurts really bad when I get in and out of the car, drive, when I reach for something on the ground, and of course when I sneeze and so on. I have started wondering if this is normal because when I talk to some people they stated after three days they felt fine. Some of the ones I spoke with mentioned they did not have as much pain but they did not have staples. Really, I think the recovery has been harder than my C-section. So, has anyone experienced this with their recovery?

I just started running a 99 degree fever. I am not for sure if that means if something coul be wrong. Also, my 2 year old has had diarhea, and I may have gotten a virus. I know my doctor said to call if my fever got to 101, so I just got alittle worried.
Thanks,
Katrina

Thanks everyone for their info. I was hoping it was the reason I have stalled for the last couple of weeks, and once I start on the 50,000iu that it would help the stall as well. I guess wshful thinking. I hate being in a stall, I get so down... and then I have to deal with the mental stuff of not eating to cope with feeling down.
