  7. Pre-op tomorrow! Surgery date 5/15... Two-day liquid diet, and I am thinking about having one last meal with desert. I know the pro's and cons... Lost 9 pounds on pre-op diet... Excited and nervous…

  11. Thank you soooo much for posting this. I will be sleeved in exactly two weeks and have been having some major anxiety and sleepless nights second guessing my decision. This really helped.

  16. Please no judgments. My BFF is in the bariatric program at Kaiser. She is an occasional marijuana user. She disclosed this to her surgeon who advised her that she would need to provide him with a clean drug test before they are able to proceed. She did and passed. BUT her case manager told her that she has to be clean for three months before she can get a surgery date. Its a regional rule that isnt written down anywhere. Has anyone had any experience with this. Please help....

  18. Hi Tammy Welcome to journey… Two pieces of advice: be proactive with the doctors and take the information on this website with a grain of salt. Every “body” is different and will have different results, expectations and experiences….
  19. Sounds like you have some haters in your life and your guy "friend" and I use that word friend losely is the biggest one. The truth is once you lose the weight and gain confidence... things are going to change for the better. You have valid reasons for getting this surgery and I wish you the best....
