  1. I don't get the. "No one knows except..." Then spout off 5 people. If 5 people know, it's no secret and you can bet 56+ people know and are whispering.

My spouse knows because he is my next of kin if something happened while I was in hospital

    Not my parents

    Not my children

    Not my BFF

    Not one or other siblings

    Not my closest coworkers

Not my friends who had WLS before

    Not my priest

    Not my neighbor

    Not my senile Aunt Susie

  2. I was using nothing but stevia during weightloss. When I went into maintenance, I let sugar creep back into my life.

I've not gained any weight but ughhhh I feel sluggish and crappy.

And the thought of going through sugar withdrawals again is giving me a panic attack. Last time, It lasted 7-10 days. I had Migraine and was moody among other things.

But I need to do it

  3. Isopure!! It's pricey but worth it. It's got NO calories EXCEPT Protein. No carbs!! The taste is tangy, like Jolly ranchers.... I like the apple melon flavor. The fruit punch flavor is pretty good too... Pretty standard fruit punch flavor. They don't taste weird, and if you have Amazon Prime (free 2-day shipping) that makes life MUUUUCH easier. If you don't have Amazon prime, I suggest you get it and order your shakes and stuff thru them... Just be careful because some items come from other sellers and they do charge shipping for that. Anyway, ISOPURE!!!

Gotta be careful with Isopure. They make a high carb/calorie version. I grabbed the wrong ones in error before. Read the bottles. Fortunately GNC has a easy return policy

  4. Clothes shopping today! Old Navy for some shorts and tanks. A couple pair of work pants. I'm now a medium shirt/tee/blouse/dress. Up from a small because of the implants. Bottom is small/x-small 2-4 at ON. Best part: no skin stuffing. No muffin top. This is how clothes are made to fit. CrAZy. Mind blown.

    Congrats!!! You've earned it

  5. I find that getting overly hydrated the night before helps. I carb load the night before as well. I drink only a Protein Drink an hour before. If I drink it too close to running or any kind if exercise I get sick. I take small sips of coconut Water while running and try to eat a meal right after. There are athletic fuels made of Gummy bears or there's always nuts (almonds or peanuts) to give ya a quick burst during the workout.

  6. My husband, whom I kept my surgery plans a secret til well after my wheels were in motion, told me just yesterday how he was initially against both surgeries (VSG & Panniculectomy) mostly because he was scared of me having serious complications or worse... He was happy with me as a big girl however he is happier to see how happy I am with the new me.

THAT, besides my own, is the only opinion that matters.

Outside people AE gonna find SOMETHING to talk about. Underweight, overweight, your fashion style, your hair... Your skin. It keeps them from concentrating on their own shortcomings

Unless your doing one of the big 3, (feeding, financing or f-cking).... You don't have a gnats chance in hell of me justifying anything to you.

We all are going to die one day. Until my turn, I'm living my life on my terms. Folks are welcome to come along for the roller coaster ride or jump ship but if you try to bring negativity to my life, I'm pushing you off the proverbial cliff.

For this reason, my inner circle is fist tight!

  7. Was told this week that I was gaunt and had too much neck skin hanging and that is why she knew I had gastric bypass.. What the H*ll?...Now that could be a rant! People say the damndist things don't they?! :( Time to hide in the closet till plastics can fix my ugly ass!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told my face & neck look like Tales of the Crypt and that I needed to gain 30 pounds back.

To hell with them. I'd rather look like it than be dead in a crypt. I got a panni. I'm done with plastics. And done giving a damn about who thinks they have a right to an opinion about my weight or my looks

  8. That tape is making a difference. Thanks to CBT again for the info.

Today's NSV: I painted my toe nails!! When I was obese, I could reach then but my pannus made doing my own pedicures a chore.

When I lost the weight, reaching my toes comfortably was difficult.. I could reach them but the pannus was in the way.

Today I painted my toenails without lifting my stomach up. Without reaching around. I feel whole again

  9. I think you may be surprised about how people feel about your A cup. (Hey, we're not in The powder Room, so this gives me license to talk about them) IMO, one of the aspects women identify themselves is by their cup size. Which, is understandable. Then, when undergoing such dramatic weight loss and therefore, change in cup size, they see having a smaller cup as having a deficiency. Myself, and I know many other men (and women) really do go by the old adage of, "More than a mouthful is a waste." Especially in a summer dress. I am not disparaging those with larger cups, I am just one who likes the look of a well proportioned lady wearing clothes which accent their features.

I'm used to it. Even when I was obese I was a member of the IBTC. But thanks for the good word, I'll keep that in mind while shopping for push-up bras

  10. Nope, where I say that? That comment was in reasons to a poster saying come back in a year implying I might feel or think differently. I was letting him know I won't. People can have regrets all that want. But if they having them over a some nausea and pain then I wonder if they were really ready for WLS or at least researched it well enough.

You must need attention and are trolling. You can't possibly be serious.
