  1. I got the pre-op diet blues. I just don't know which protein flavor to choose. Everyone around me's eating what they please. Pizza, fried rice, macaroni and cheese. I'm just trying to choke yet another shake down. Ok look, now they're passing candy around. I'm about to eat my own shoe. I got the pre-op diet blues.
  2. Have a safe flight!!
  3. What's the colon cleanse that you guys are doing? Bottles of magnesium citrate?
  4. Ok! Maybe that was just some generic weight loss surgery info, and more geared toward bypass patients!
  5. Good luck to everyone getting sleeved in the next couple days!!
  6. I'm looking at the binder of info my surgeon's office gave me, and it says I won't be able to donate blood any more after having the sleeve. Why's that?
  7. Also, might I add that your Dr is now the coolest doc ever for letting you have beer the day before surgery lol!
  8. You too huh? Stupid pizza!! Lol. I'm definitely paying for it today. Had bad heartburn throughout the night, then woke up incredibly thirsty and with gas cramps. Back on track, with a protein shake for breakfast.
  9. Ugh, I had a stressful day at work, and came home and ate pizza for supper, and now feel like crap. I've had a constant headache/hunger/slight dizziness on this pre-op diet, and now I just sabotaged myself. Well, right back at it in the morning.
  10. Me too! I want to hear something other than "she has pretty eyes".
  11. Hi! Be sure to do a lot of reading up before your surgery. This site is a goldmine of info!
  12. Emmy, I hope you start healing up and feeling better quickly. I can't imagine vomiting with the new stomach is any fun.
  13. Hello newbies Drujon and Evolving. I'm scheduled for the 26th and am on my pre-op diet. You can do this, Drujon! I know how hard it is to quit smoking, but you've got to keep your eye on the prize.
  14. Its rough for me, too, and mine isn't even liquids only. I'm craving everything under the sun. The people who did this during the holidays had to have had an iron will and nerves of steel.
  15. Lth11, I hope you're feeling better soon. That sounds awfully rough. Were they concerned about the blood? Is everyone avoiding candy and chocolates today? My husband didn't get me anything for valentines day, so I guess I don't have to worry.... *sigh*
  16. Best of luck, Valentine's sleevers!!
  17. Yay! Now you know! Hit the sack!
  18. Good luck tomorrow, guys!!!
  19. That's funny - I'm drinking their Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor right now. Here is their website: http://tryabouttime.com/ They have an inexpensive sample pack that they sent quickly.
  20. That's crazy, PhilyNurse!
  21. Yup! 26th here too. How do you feel just finding out and it's less than two weeks away? Excited?
  22. Bright and early! Do you have to be there by 5:30? Gonna be able to sleep tonight?
  23. Hope all having surgery today are doing well and having a smooth operation and recovery!
  24. I can't wait for the 26th to get here already. Only on day 2 of the pre-op diet and I'm craving everything. Right now I want fish and chips.
