I had the same thing happen to me it was GIST cancer, they caught it way early, all gone & no further treatment needed. Was seen @ Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo NY. Hope everything turns out as good for you as it did for me.

I haven't noticed everyone talking about food but it seems everybody is sure interested in what I'm eating (or rather the small amount) & everyone has a comment....maybe if they would have paid attention when I was eating large amounts of all the wrong foods I wouldn't have done that so often lol

What are some things that I can throw in my purse for emergencies at the mushy food stage!! Need some ideas as I'm returning to work Monday, I wanna be prepared for anything lol

I was told I could start taking my Claritin immediately after surgery, no problems was sleeved 2/27

I took no pain meds after leaving the hospital (was sleeved on the 27 too) & was driving that Sunday

... but i feel better now..lolGlad u made it threw, that leak rest was definitely the worst!!!

So had my first follow-up from surgery. had some crazy unexpected results: they found a stromal tumor in my stomach they cut out. They obviously got it all out but still want me to go to Roswell for further testing just to make sure. I may have inadvertently saved my own life by doing this, holy ****!

I am writing to report that I am no longer single. Not sure if its because of the weight loss or the Multiple changes that have happened over the last 2 years. The weight loss journey has taught me so much about myself that it makes me a better man and a better partner. I must say that i am truly happy with my girl' date=' we have a deep understanding of each other and she had no problem with my surgery or me having multiple sclerosis . Its nice to find a person who respects and loves me entirely. To all the single sleevers i just want to say that there is hope and you all will find the right person. Somebody should make a group for people in new relationships for advice giving, just a thought.[/quote']Good for you!! Congrats !
