    vaginal bleeding post op

I had my surgery on 3/19 and started my stupid period on 3/20, about 10 days early. It looks like it's pretty common just by the responses here.

    Any March 19 sleevers?

Jenah, I am so sorry to hear that! I hope all goes well I am home and doing pretty good. Just drinking water and sipping some broth. I didn't desire anything but water the last two days so I knew I should do some broth. Starting out with 2oz. I'm not too sore, the drain is a major pain! Glad everyone else seems good.

    Any March 19 sleevers?

Fabulous Katia! I was sleeved at 9:00 am and only minor pain. Surgery went great. I am damn thirsty though! I hope everyone else is doing great as well.

    Any March 19 sleevers?

My surgery is tomorrow too! I am so scared/nervous! It's really starting to hit home. I think my biggest fear is the pain afterwards. I know several people who have had laproscopic and they said it's not horribly bad, but I'm a wimp. That and vomitting! Good luck to you all!

    What did you tell people?

I understand. I work in an office with 6 other women. I told them I was having surgery for female issues because I know how katty they are and have heard them talking negatively about someone else who had weight loss surgery, so I don't even want to get their opinions. I have told them they I started going to a nutritionist to try and lose weight, so I figure when I start losing big time they won't question it as much. My parents know, but none of my friends know at this point. I am going to tell them this weekend. My surgery is Tuesday 3/19. Good luck to you!
  6. I'm having my surgery next Tuesday. You all have be so valuable when I have questions. I know I can come here and find my answer. My question today is about pain. I have to admit this is my biggest fear. I'm ready for my new life, but I can't stop thinking about how much/what type of pain. Please honestly, tell me how much pain you were in. I've never had surgery before or had a child, so I feel like I have nothing to compare it to haha. I know I'm freaking out about it, but it worries me...

    Please be honest

Thank you all so much for your replies. I think I can actually get some sleep now thinking I might be over worrying about something I can't control. Thank you all!
