I just love Dr. Kirk!!! They are amazing and great staff. Only had issues with one outside DR but Kirk took care of it fast!

I'm going through Owasso at Bailey Medical Center.
I went through Bailey too. Loved the experience. Everyone is so nice and friendly. I even went back there when I had to have my thyroid removed. Very impressed with the whole process.

Well' date=' I got my date this week....August 6th.....so not too much longer [/quote']Oh yeah. It will be here before you know it. Make a food bucket list and make sure you eat what you want before surgery... I had some weird cravings after surgery and could not have what i wanted

I don't know who Dr. Worley is' date=' but my sleep study was scheduled through Dr. Lewis' (the pulmonologist) office at Bailey. I didn't want to go all the way to Bailey for the sleep study, as it's a long drive for me, and told them I wanted to go to Hillcrest South. They sent the request to Hillcrest South and Hillcrest's scheduling department called me to set it up. I didn't have to make any calls myself to set it up.[/quote']Dr Worley is really nice. I saw Dr Lewis and like him but hate dealing with the large group he is with.

I've had no issues but everything that was scheduled was done through Bailey not the individual Dr's

Thanks ill look into those too. To take the silver is that because you are over 50 or just better for people after bariatric surgery?I'm not over 50. That is the one that my Dr likes for after surgery

The thought of puréed chicken' date=' turkey, or any kind of meat makes me want to puke! There is no way I can do it!![/quote']I put the meat in a small food chopper and would add a bit of gravy. It was pretty good. Also look up the thread for ricotta bake. It's in the pureed stage and really yummy

Most of the things I try sit just fine. There are days I can eat something and have the same thing the very next day and it does not want to sit well... But over all its ok

Looking great. My face was one of the first places I noticed a difference. And I have gone down in pant sizes too... That is where I mainly see it. My clothes and others

Oh Megs81' date=' that really makes me feel so much better. So far, I have loved the Bailey program and all the DRs that I've seen. I have been to all of the Drs and now I'm in the testing phase. I have the stress test 6-17/6-18, I'm frightened for that one. I also have the sleep test left, worried about that too. Have you been successful this far?????[/quote']
Yes. I thankfully have had no problems since surgery. Stress test wasn't bad. And I already had a sleep test done. It makes a world of difference if you have apnea and use the machine I love mine but I have been off of it for about 3 months and I am sleeping great. Don't stress... Tests are not a deal breaker just want to make sure they know what is going on

I was told I could drive when I stopped taking pain meds for at least 24 hours but you are still going to have the hospital pain meds in you and I bet they give you something by mouth before you leave. Driving is not a good idea. Most hospitals will not let you drive when released anyway
-
Well' date=' I'm still moving forward....met with my PCP today and he wrote my letter for the insurance company. Told me he thinks the sleeve is a good choice for me and he feels that I will do great with it I have two more appts with the bariatric center before they can submit for insurance approval. So, keeping fingers crossed![/quote']Good luck Kimmy! It will be great
