I'm being sleeved Friday and just found out that a girl I used to work with had a massive stroke and is paralyzed on one side she's 45 years old with 2 young kids:( she was overweight and had just lost 50 lbs on a diet it's a very sad situation this just makes me know for sure that I'm doing the right thing having surgery because I want to live whatever life I have left healthier and happier because you never know what can happen and that life is really to short !! I'm on day 9 of pre-op liquid diet have not cheated and I haven't lost anything I'm being sleeved this Friday. Some days I only had 2-3 shakes instead of 5 maybe my metabolism slowed down because of that I feel like I lost bloat and Water but my scale stayed the same not happy:( I didn't exercise it was hard enough just not to eat . Exactly how I feel it doesn't help that I'm on low dose of prednisone and my thyroid doesn't work which makes it harder can't wait until Friday for my surgery either !! Maybe I'll be a few ounces lighter when my stomach comes out Lol Sent from my iPhone using VST

I'm on day 8 pre-op liquid diet and I really want to eat I won't cheat though I'm just so sick of shakes and want to taste something different Question am I really NOT going to want to eat post-op because I can't see that now .
