  2. Thanks for the info. I am getting really anxious, but I really need to get the procedure done as my arms look horrible, I am starting the process of seeking out surgeons, did you have the brachioplasty in stages? I am thinking of getting lipo and then the actual surgery a few months later.
  3. Does anyone have any recommendations on surgeons in the St.Louis area? Also, can you share about how much it cost? TIA

I started running(jogging) too and within a week I can jog a full mile with out stopping. I never thought I would be so excited about running. I am so proud of you keep it up.
  5. i am an accountant and I took off a week and 2 days. I was cleared to take 6 weeks off, but I didn't need it. I felt great at the time. I do have to say that it can be a challenge trying to get in the liquids when I am so busy at work. I would suggest 2 weeks if you can pull it off. I wish I would of waited another week or so to go back. Best of luck to you.
  6. I am losing about one pound every three days. I am 3 weeks out and I am very happy with that. For some reason I thought it would go faster! Silly me or else wishful thinkin . I started walking last Wednesday and I am up to 2 1/2 miles per day. It seems it has kind of stalled my losing! GOOD LUCK!!!
  7. What kind of issues?

  9. what happens when you Slime?
  10. Unjury has started to do the same thing to me. I don't understand it because I tolerated it fine before surgery. I am 21 days out and it has been really hard to find a protein that I tolerate well.
  11. I am 3 weeks out tomorrow and I have no pain what so eve. I would call your doctor and see what they think. I bet it is tight from scar tissue or adhesions.
  12. I understand. I am 2 weeks post op and I have completely given up on ice tea with sweet and low. It taste terrible now.
  13. I am so glad to hear that others had the same situation that I have, I feel great, this is so incredible. I can hardly believe it.
  14. I feel so good that I am thinking of going back to work next week too. I hate to jump the gun and then be sorry if I do go back and regret it.
  15. Oh I hope so. I am glad that someone else had the same type of situation. Do you continue to loose weight at a good pace?
  16. Is my sleeve too big? Well, I am 5 days post op and I can drink normal, without sipping, no pain meds and I can walk a half mile. I feel some hunger, I am starting to wonder if I really had surgery. I can get in my full 64 oz and 60 grams of protein with out any problems at all. My weight loss post surgery is 9 lbs. Does this sound right? I am getting nervous that my sleeve is too big or something.
  17. I go in tomorrow at 9 am. I cheated a few minutes ago and had a piece of roast. I hope I am doing the right thing!
  18. I feel the same way. I have surgery in the morning and I broke down and had a small piece of beef roast. I thought I was going to lose my cool, so I ate it. I hope it doesn't mess up my surgery tomorrow!
  19. The best unflavored protein powder is called Unjury. I order it on-line, their chicken flavor is wonderful too. Good luck
  20. Have wither of you tried Unjury Chicken flavored protein? It is wonderful!
  21. I am having my surgery the 23rd too! I am on day 2 of the pre op diet...not fun! But, ready to get on with the surgery.
  22. I am on day 2 of pre op diet and I was feeling very sick to my stomach from all the Protein shakes. So, instead of totally falling off the wagon, I had 3 deli slices of turkey. It settled my stomach and I finished the day on a good note. I am looking forward to surgery next Wednesday. Good Luck and hang in there.
  23. Oh that is a tough situation to be in. Have you thought about calling the office manager? Maybe they can help you get around the politics that seem to be going on in the office.
  24. Hey there lucky you not having the liquid diet! I would totally be good with that! Well, I want to lose about 80lbs or so. I am at 219 now, I would like to be 100lbs, but I want to be realistic too. I am getting really excited!
