    Before and after

    Wow!!! Looking smexy!!'
  2. YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!! Very happy and so glad that i had VGS! Only 3 months out, almost -50# & full of energy, full of LIFE! I love the way my body is taking shape, my legs, glut, arms, hips, waist!! I love that I can work out and feel fantastic after! I love that every single day I don't have to regret how much I ate, or what I ate, or promise myself that on Monday I was going to start a diet and then come Monday noon and the "diet" went out the door. That i don't get out of breath, Or that when I'm getting dressed I'm not disgusted and constantly thinking about my huge self. I love looking at the mirror and SMILING for once!!! So what that I'm not eating as much as my friends at get togethers! Big f$&@&$? deal! I eat as instructed, I'm satisfied, my sleeve is happy, and I can still have great time with friends. I've learned to eat really really slow when I'm out at dinners with the girls that we finish at the same time. You learn to adjust. You're entire lifestyle HAS TO CHANGE!

    Snickers...

It DOESN'T satisfy you My patient gave me a SB today and thought I'd bring it home to my boys and they could split it. Instead my old, ok not so old self (3 months post-op) came home exhausted and said screw that I'm going to have some and I actually waited till the kids were out of sight and ripped that baby open. I managed to eat half and then I began to feel nauseous, hot head, heart burn, and just sick! Threw the rest out. Lesson learned. I will confess to my Crossfit coach and give him 20 burpees mañana! Question, why the "sick" feeling? Is it mental cause I know I shouldn't be eating that? Or does it have to do with little stomach space and major sugar/chocolate ratio?
  4. Most awesome transformation I've seen here by far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it! Congratulations!!!!!

Do I really have to workout?!?!?

Aww thanks!! It really does feel good after a workout regardless if its just a stroll, walk/jog, Crossfit, Zumba, yoga... As sleevers or any WLS we've literally been given a second chance. This TOOL must be utilized or we'll just head straight into failure/ minimal weight loss.
  10. 3 months out, down 40lbs. One month out I started couch to 5k. Thought I was in ok shape cardio wise as of today. I did my first cross fit this evening and omg I thought I was going to puke out my lungs and my uterus! I did almost pass out after my first burpee round, saw stars and bright lights! So I put my head btw my legs, caught my breath and jumped back in. I'm going again tomorrow (my next door neighbors garage) but today really opened my eyes as to how unfit my body and heart really is. Well I knew my body is very unfit but damn this felt so good after, wobbly thighs & all!

    vaginal bleeding post op

I'm an ob- gyn nurse, 12 yrs now at a woman's hospital, I know many obgyn docs and have asked already. Sometimes major illness, trauma, infection or operations can all affect an otherwise normal menstrual cycle and the stress of any surgery both physical and mental – is the cause here. No worries really. You'll be just fine!! Sent from my iPhone using VST
