hi teeri congratulations on both weight loss and pregnancy . can i ask before you lost your weight did you have problems in getting pregnant, Ive been told my blood test show i have signs of going through the change that's one reason i decided to have the band done as i would get my health back and if i went for ivf i would be guaranteed a child, i do have a daughter age 10yrs which i used the fertility drug clomid if your self or any other ladies can help i would be grateful I'm 37yrs

hi all I'm Joanne from skegness UK i was banded on the 14th may 07 i feel great ,only discomfort from the port area when i forget and bend down to the left side . how are you all doing ? i found the site through finding my feet good luck everyone jojozoxx

<p>hi sunny </p> <p>i was banned on the 14 may 07 in belgium .</p> <p>i would n`tgo back on having my band done </p> <p>its the best thing Ive done , i know its still early days for me . </p> <p>i went down for my op at 9am and went into the theater at about 9.30am . i woke in the recovery room about 11am i had nurses giving me pain killers i think i had 2 lots in recovery with saline drip i slept most of the time in recovery . i went backup my room about 12pm i slept most of the afternoon i think i had a couple more pain killers in my drip . i did get up to go to the loo and i was fine at about 5pm i went to see the other girls who where being banded at the same time as me . i would say if you can ask ur doctor if you can go down early so your recovery i sooner . i traveled from belgium on the Tuesday morning by car back home to skegness England which was a 8hrs traveling time . a week in i have lost 17lb already, i know a lot is fluid but it is a lose all the same .</p> <p>i hope Ive been of help to you . good luck you will be ok</p>

hi all wooooow one week in and I'm 17lb down yippee :clap2: i know the majority is water but its still off . its daft but i can see my ankles they arent puffy . i got through the first week ,week 2 hear i come :clap2:

thanks jjb and Susan for your support can you give me any ideas for the second week. i don't want to be having the same everyday so if you have any ideas i would be much appreciated

hi all I'm a week in and I'm 17lb down yippee :clap2: :clap2: i found week 1 not to bad i placed on nicely week 2 is here so on to thicker liquids Ive had runny ready break which was really nice . how are the rest of you doing week 1 end

hi joanna i was also banded on the 14 may 07 in belgum i live in the uk . i take haliborange multivitamins plus calcium and iron all in one chewable tablets i take 1 daliy . how are you feeling ?

sandra ive not told meny people mine and martins family know but apart from them and my boss ive told two of my mates . when i settle down with the band then i will tell others i want to get my head round the band first the ups and downs . i know a few of my mates will judge when i will have no restiction if i go off the healthy eatin plan for something i fancy . but hay this is the long road to a new me

thanks katherine ive taken a week of work i wasnt going to tell anyone but my dr put gastric banding op on the sick note so i had to tell my bosses but hay ive had it done and on a new journey to find myself again
