  1. Sorry Eric, but by the very nature of "offering your services" you are advertising. It's a by definition thing.
  2. 800 calories is not enough. If you are still doing baby food, you are still probably in the healing stage. You need more food... and Water
  3. when I was a baby I insisted that vienia sausages were baby candy, and that sugar candy wasn't good for babies. They are still known as "baby candy" in our family... I like liverworst blended with cream cheese and some spices, depending on my mood...
  4. Welcome to the Band Wagon! I'm not sure I understand your last question. The full feeling feels the same... If you are asking about "when to stop" then that is as varied as the person asking the question. Anyway, Huzzah!
  5. Hurrah Corgi! You are doing great! Adding excersize is probably always a good idea, but "behind schedule?" (looks perplexed...) what an odd concept.
  6. Super glue and tape.
  7. great news Michelle!
  8. wait, I thought we were all some middlle-aged guy named Tony on the net. You mean we aren't? Very disapointing about the segment on The View. I know I was hopping for something substansive.
  9. okay, had to finally actually find out. Main Entry: lb Function: abbreviation Etymology: Latin libra pound www.m-w.com is my favorite online dictionary. dictionary.com has too many pop-ups to make me happy. When I actaully need to find the etimology of a word, that's where I generally go. Main Entry: et·y·mol·o·gy Pronunciation: <TT>-jE</TT> Function: noun Inflected Form(s): plural -gies Etymology: Middle English ethimologie, from Latin etymologia, from Greek, from etymon + -logia -logy 1 : the history of a linguistic form (as a word) shown by tracing its development since its earliest recorded occurrence in the language where it is found, by tracing its transmission from one language to another, by analyzing it into its component parts, by identifying its cognates in other languages, or by tracing it and its cognates to a common ancestral form in an ancestral language http://m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?va=etymology
  10. my pain from my band was less than my cramps from my period. Easy-peasy.
  11. Green Day rocks! Kathy, remind me again who's on narcotics? 47lb translates to fourty-seven pounds, "lb" being the standard abrieviation for imperial "pounds." I haven't been able to trace the etimology of the "lb" abriviation however. (I have to confess, I haven't put much effort into it either....)
  12. Hippo Birdies, Two Ewes!
  13. I wanna' go to Jack's place for coffee...
  14. My DH cannot eat pizza, but I can.
  15. Wow, that is great news Penni! It's always really fun to meet someone famous (for all the right reasons. Not fun if they are famous for the wrong reasons.... )
  16. I'd rather get up to go pee than get up to go eat something... But that's just me...
  17. I made my DH come with me. For my fill. I'm the same woman who doen't blink at a D&C with a spinal all alone in ID, but I had so many tears with my fill my ears filled with tears!
  18. I've had bruses go almost right to yellow, so I wouldn't worry about the yellow. If it is hot to the touch, then there would be issues, along with fever. Take care
  19. also, you might want to take the meds with milk (if you can) since that will help coat the pouch. One of the other things to do is to drink a large glass of Water after taking the meds to help wash them out and down. I break them in half but I don't chew them. (shudders at the thought)
  20. If I don't drink a glass of milk before I go to bed, I wake up hungry in the middle of the night. So, I drink a glass of milk before I go to bed. Sooooo, I'm guessing you are not doing your crunches then? I felt like I was Crunch Queen before my surgry, and I didn't have any real issues with feeling like I was hobbling around everywhere. Plus, it always shocks them with a big fat lady can just *boop* sit right up without needing help...
  21. Hi Ruthie, not everyone loses weight during the liquid phase, although many do. Don't panic!
  22. no fasts after a fill. Jessie just recommends soup for dinner that night.
  23. ah ha ha ha, Sadie could do it all along, she just didn't want to steal Jake's thunder. Bently sounds like a monster! A big slobbery hairball monster "ohboyohboyohboy-someonegonnaplaywithme!" SLORP!
  24. I can't think of a higher fat & sugar loaded deal than an ice cream sundee with whiped cream, Cookies AND brownies... Felt just fine afterwards.... Perhaps it was the bread like quality of the donuts?
  25. I am so sorry to hear about your dog. Indeed, how many degrees of a broken heart does one need? Such a sad thing.
