Not sure how you can give up with weight loss surgery. I guess if there is a will there is a way but you should put your energy towards following the plan and having some patience. Some people lose faster than others. That is the only negative I see about the forum is we tend to compare ourselves to each other and we are not alike. I have lost 43 lbs since surgery on 10/16 and it has been slower than others, faster than some, and about the same with others. i try not to think about that too often because it can frustrate you. I am just happy i am no longer gaining, i am losing and I am not suffering from dieting. I eat small amounts and I am full and I am still losing. I cant ask for anything better than that.
You will get there.. Focus on the positives and remember this is a life long journey. I hope it gets better for you soon!
Listen to your MIL! Her wisdom is best. Let your husband deal with his own discomfort. You do not need to "feed" his discomfort. You did not ask for this or deserve it, so when he tries to "dish it out",do not pick it up. Best of luck-stay strong-stay focused.
