  1. I am one week out and have no pain. This much pain almost one month later could be a sign of other issues. I don't think this is normal. Please call your doctor ASAP.
  2. I am taking omeprazole and has made a world of difference, I feel great now 9 days out!
  3. Have a HIDA scan done. If your ejection fraction is low and the pain is reproduced with Kinevac, which is administered during the HIDA scan, you could have cholecystitis. You can have this with or without gallstones. I've heard it is extremely painful. ???? Good luck!
  4. I am on my third day of omeprazole and it has made a world of difference! No more reflux and no more gurgling stomach.
  5. My doctor prescribed Zofran and that really helped. I also used a nurses trick of sniffing an alcohol wipe. Thankfully, I never actually through up and the nausea passed by day 4. It WILL get better. Keep your chin up :-)
  6. That is so much food. I have friends that are 4 months postop and they can't eat half of that. I'd definitely talk to your dr. Good luck to you.
  7. I had my surgery 1-4-13 and am having a hard time. Not throwing up but nothing seems to agree with me. I have some pain when I swallow. Getting down and crying today. My friends went through the same issues and are doing great. I can't wait to get to that point. Any advice?
  8. Thank you! I guess I'll just take it day by day...
  9. I am 4 days postop. I am having the hardest time getting in my liquids! I feel like I can actually feel the liquid trying to go down. Is this normal??
  10. January 4 for me. Only 2 days of my preop diet left! Excited and nervous...
