  1. I am having mine done in Towson, MD. My spreadsheets with my eating schedules for all of the stages are done. for me it helps to keep me on track, i am such a scatter brain most of the time... im just so afraid I will lose my hair. I had my pre op information session and i feel overwhelmed but not as freaked out. The one thing that shocked me was when they told us .. if in the future we get sick and throw up like the flu or something, that we will have to start the next meal with a clear liquid, then onto full liquid then pureed, soft. FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES... lol we all started looking around at eachother and i thought " please, NOBODY get up and run from the room cause i will be on your heels" thankfully we all made it lol. they said that our serving size will be 1/4 cup.... ahhhh it was the true first time during the pre op that i felt so hungry, i was ready to knaw my arm off. on another note, i am so freaking excited again, i cant stand the wait. 6 days left everyone!
  2. Here is the link to the visual thread. one person put pictures up. there were alot of good ideas on the visual rewards. Someone was making a necklace with all of their beads. im def doing that http://www.verticalsleevetalk.com/topic/66210-fun-visual-ways-to-track-weight-loss/page__hl__visual
  3. Jennifer, how bad was the pain when you woke up? I was told they wanted me walking within 1-2 hours after I wake up. Keep us posed when you get home. I am nervous about the pain when you are not on the pain pump. I am so happy everyone seems to be coming through with flying colors!
  4. I looked around on pinterest at skinny cloths and fashions and youre right it does def help. There was a thread on visual rewards and she had two glass containers. One w marbles. One marble for every pound she loses. When she loses a pound she will put that amount of marbles in the empty jar. The picture was pretty. It kind of motivated me. I think im gonna do it!
  5. Ok I was ecstatic yesterday that I had my date. But today reality is setting in. I cant believe I am doing this. Dont get me wrong im not backing out and I am excited but its kind of scary. Maybe I should window shop for clothes and a bathing suit.

  7. HI Rick, I am March 19th and I forbid anything bad to happen on that day! For the whole month while I am at it! I think its great that you are doing this for your children and they will benifit by having you for so much longer! Best of luck Rick!

  10. Hi everyone! I am Shelly from NJ but work makes me live in MD lol. I have my final pre-op apt march 4th and I hope to be scheduled for surgery shortly after. I am so excited to finally be a part of a "sleever month" group! Wwooohooo! I cant wait!
  11. Hi Rosie! I envy that you are 21 and going to change the things you listed to things you will do! I am 35 and would give anything to have done this in my early 20s. You are going to be dressing in All the latest fashions and have lots of men swooning over you before you know it. As far as standing to work you will be running circles around that job... but trust me those jobs still suck lol. Dont be sad , keep thinking of all the great things youre gonna be doing the rest of your life!
  12. What was the process for out of country? Was is difficult getting started?

Ill be able to wear my accomplishment proud without the weight! Loved this thread!
