Too full! NEED ADVICE!
I eat too fast. This was also a problem before surgery. I eat so fast, I don't know I'm full till I get up from eating and then I'm stuffed! I need advice. I am terrified of stretching out my nice, new tummy. What tricks do y'all use to SLOW DOWN???? Are there any? I have tried to follow everything and do it right but I am still having trouble with this!!

thinning and loss of hair
I also have fine, thin hair. It is now falling out by the truckload! Hate it, but hopefully won't last forever. I'll live with it on account of my 70lb weight loss.

Eating two days post op
Are you trying to eat solid foods? I was on liquids for weeks. No way could I have eaten any food 2 days post op. I could barely get in water!!

First day back to work....
I also teach and it was SO hard going back! Teaching is so physically and emotionally draining all on its own and recovering from major surgery makes it so much harder! As you progress in your eating, you will feel better and better. Until then, just prepare yourself mentally for the exhaustion and fatigue. It'll be better before you know it!

chinese food
Tried it about 6-8 weeks after surgery. NO rice and NO eggroll. I had hot and sour soup and some garlic chicken that was not breaded. Went fine and had A LOT of leftovers!! I am almost 4 months out.

Drinking Alcohol after VGS
I had a margarita on the rocks about 6-8(?) weeks post surgery. I tolerated it fine, but it couldn't really get much of it in. I drank maybe half of it?? Soda is a no go for me. My tastes have changed and soda tastes aweful to me now. It's like drinking carbonated water. Yuck. Just be careful and go slow!

Liquid Diet
I did not have to do a liquid pre-op, either. Just a high protein, no carb diet for two weeks prior to surgery.

Watch the salt!
Well, that's frustrating.

Any recommendations for VSG physicians in San Antonio or Austin?
Dr. Marquez at Southwest Bariatrics. Had a great experience and her staff was SO helpful!!! Oh, she's in Austin!
