I had a huge problem with the incision right below my drainage. I had them look at it a couple of times. It was red with lots of puss coming out of each staple. They stapled it in my fat roll so every time I moved, it rubbed. The best feeling was getting the staples out. It took me weeks before it started feeling better and a couple of months for it to stop bleeding/puss. Hang in there, it gets better.

I was sleeved 12/17/12. I just had my 4th kidney stone since surgery and feel like I am getting another. I have only had 1 before my surgery. They did an ultrasound a couple of months ago and didn't see any. I wonder how long they take to form?

I was sleeved on 12/17, almost six weeks ago, and one of my incisions won't stop bleeding/pussing. It was cauterized 2 weeks ago but that made it worse. Has anyone had this problem?

They were short staffed and it looks like they hired 2 new receptionist. The usual receptionist wasn't there and the nurse never called me back. It is the bariatric center for the hospital.

Thursday the surgeon put stuff on it to stop it. It has bleed like crazy ever since. I tried calling the doctors office 3 times on Friday and they have all new people who couldn't transfer me to the right people. I will call again Monday if it is still bleeding.

Hi everyone,
Monday wll be week 4 for all of us. I am still bleeding from 1 of my incisions. Is anyone else? My doctor cauterized it Thursday but it seems to be bleeding alot more now.

I went to Dr and everything is ok. The staples were put in a very bad way and I feel 100% better there. Thank God! I don't know how much more pain I could stand without pain mess.

I know a bunch of you had said you feel awesome even 1 week post op but I was wondering if you all had the JP drain with that awesomeness?

Havent had surgery yet' date=' what is a JP drain?[/quote']It is a Grenade looking contraption attached to a tube that goes inside one of your incisions. It takes out puss and blood and you need to empty it daily. My doc leaves it in a week or so. I get it out tomorrow. They also have you drink grape juice or something and if the contents of your drain turn that color it means you have a leak.

I have 1 Great Dane and just her accidentally knocking into me huts my stomach. But you have 2? I also get very sore feeding my 2 dogs and cats. The bending down kills my tummy. Are you doing the feeding? I am 6 days post-op and I take pain meds every 4 hours. You should definitely ask for a script. I hated the tylenol.

I had my sleeve done on the 17th also and I am 12 pounds down also . This head hunger is killing me . I want to eat what every one is eating . I go and see my doctor on Wednesday the 27th .Hi, I am also down 12 lbs since surgery on December 17 and seeing the doctor the 27th. I have had a lot of pain where the tube is and also the staples under the tube. It is very red and painful. My pants and underwear must be rubbing there. Also my belly is shrinking causing the staples to tighten. I can wait until Wednesday to get it all out. It's also very hard for me to get up and down or stand straight and it is killing my back. Have you had any of these problems?

I just don't know what to eat on this pureed stage...Everything sounds so gross. It was toasted' date=' but I think I ate it to fast, and I was miserable for hours and scared I'd have to go to hospital and confess to my surgeon what I did and he'd have to take it out. But, it worked out OK. I was fine the next morning.I just don't know what on earth I am supposed to eat during this phase.[/quote']
Not sure if this is good for u but looks like it has Protein and sounds delicious. I haven't tried it yet, only 6 days post-op, but sure will
Baked ricotta
8oz ricotta
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1t. Italian seasoning
1lg egg
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup marinara sauce (I used 1/2 cup sun dried Tomato alfrado sauce
1/2 cup low fat mozzarella cheese
Mix ricotta cheese,parmesan cheese, beaten egg, and seasonings together. Place in oven dish pour sauce over top then top with mozzarella cheese. Bake 450 for 20-25 min. 6 servings 88 cal. 4 fat. 3.3 carbs and 9.2 Protein

I talked to the Dr and he said wait it out until my post-op because I don't have a fever. We will see how it goes.

My staples that are under my drain site are making my belly really red and hurtful with some puss. I think my belly is dropping causing them to pull out. Tomorrow is Christmas and then Wednesday is my follow up where they will remove everything. Do you think it is safe to wait until Wednesday? I don't want to ruin Christmas and spend it in the ER.

Did anyone have problems with their Uvula in the back of the throat stretching and touching their tongue and making them gag? If so, how long to go away?

I had it done on the 17th also. I am very sore. I can't stand straight because it hurts my stomach which then hurts my back. Anyone else have this problem?

I am from South Burlington Vermont. I was sleeved December 16th so it has been almost 5 months. I started at 309 last March and am at 200 today. I would love to be at around 140 when finished. I have been in a stale for around 3 weeks but I hear that happens. I started at a size 22-24 and am now a 14-16.
