I haven't always been big. I started to gain weight when my mom and dad split up the first time (I was in 4th grade). I dealt with bullying in elementary school. In middle school and high school, I (oddly) didn't deal with bullying. I went to a school for the arts and we didn't fight like other high schools did. Thank the Lord! I do deal with discrimination in adulthood. I get discriminated against for being fat and for getting bariatric surgery.

I have ankylosing spondylitis and fibromyalgia so I'm hoping that losing weight will help both of these conditions.
