I was sleeved on 12-11-12 and I am taking in between 500 to 900 calories a day staying mainly around 650. I have stepped on the scale twice in 4 weeks. The day of my surgery and 1-7-13 the day I went for my check up. I want to focus on how I feel and the way my clothes fit. My doctor (who is so amazing) when I asked him what is a good healthy weight loss a week he told me not to focus on that. Focus on following the plan, exercise and it will all fall into place You will have "fake" stalls but keep following the plan the NUT gave and you will succeed. I will not step on the scale again until my next visit with him in 6 weeks. I can focus on the main objective for myself, regaining my health! Plus seeing that 42lbs lost in 4 weeks made so excited, I cried. Maybe my next visit will show that or close to it.

Congratulations!!! I am almost 4 weeks post op and I feel out of this world. The best advice I can give is start practicing your life style now, start weighing your foods, practice eating very slow and drinking often and KEEP POSITIVE. You will do awesome!

I am almost 4 weeks out and I feel wonderful. No complications with the surgery, I was a little nauseated when I first came out of surgery but, after a little meds and some more sleep I woke up feeling wonderful, I was up walking and released 26 hours after surgery the most complicated thing in this whole process has been ME. Learning a new life style. BE POSTIVE! That is my motto!

I had the bacteria, I took a 10 day treatment and Prylosec for 10 days. That took care of it and I was sleeved right on schedule.

Mine offered two weeks for non physical jobs, I went back after 6 days, I have a very non demanding desk job and a very very supportive support group at work.

JustSleeveIt, I was diagnoised with RA 3 years ago, and I had my Sleeve surgery 12-11-12. My surgeon said this is the best option if you have RA. I had to stop my meds two weeks prior to surgery and 6 weeks post surgery. I pray all goes well! Nysi!
