  1. I am going to start taking BC again and wanted to know what have you used that hasnt made you gain weight. I used jaz and depo shot a few yrs ago and i know the depo shot made me blow up and i was never able to lose it till now, after surgery. i really really do not want to gain but not a fan of Condoms????
  2. I think for me its been chicken nuggets. Yep! I ate 5 yesterday and didn't feel full. It scared me big time!!!!
  3. Dont feel bad. I am 11wks out and im down 34 since surgery. Think about it, would you have been able to lose what you lost on your own? Me? Probably not. Thats why i did this. my surgeon says everyone is different and i am doing fine with my journey.
  4. Same here to all. I dont drink soda either. it amazes me how i dont even crave my favorite foods like pasta and i hope i stay like this. i have about 60 pounds to go for my goal weight and im a very slow loser. About 2 pounds a week.....
  5. Can you guys express what you normally eat at 3 months out? Or what you do not eat? Example: i dont eat breads, pasta, rice, sweets and fried food. Also dont eat meat. Only chicken and seafood as fish, tilapia, shrimp....
  6. Interesting. Can you give more details. How did you find this? As in did you have any symptoms?
  7. I get on the scale every day. Yes, i know i shouldn't but cant help it. I record weekly loss every Wednesday which is the day of the week i had surgery.... Last week and this week that just past, from wednesday to saturday i hadn't lost anything, then i went out on Saturday night, had a few sips of an alcoholic drink (maybe about 8 oz, spread out) and then on Sunday i was 2-3pounds lighter. This happened last weekend and this weekend, could it be coincidence? Both days i barely ate anything so cant point it on higher calories consumption. Not trying to advocate this and not making it a habit to drink alcohol, just wondering if anyone else has had similar expereince.
  8. Update- gained 2 pounds. :-( Back to normal calories routin.
  9. So sorry you ate going through this. Maybe try upping up your protein.
  10. I went on a first date 6 weeks after surgery. I steered the dinner and drinks option he had to a movie date. When we got there he offered food and i simply said "no thanks just Water is fine, Im still full from my last meal".
  11. Im sooo looking forward to the 160's.
  12. So i gave it a try like i said. Im down 2 pounds BUT i also drank my BP pill yesterday that i havent drank in a week so it made me pee alot yesterday. Yesterday i added a banana cream greek yogurt to my vanilla protein shake. Mixed it well and BAM 36g of protein just in breakfast. Tasted just like a banana shake.

  15. Thank you all so much!!! I was worried there was no change.

  20. Does anybody have this app? Its great!!!! It has calorie, carbs, Protein, and fat counts on almost everyfood. There is a recipes section where you can get recipes for all phases. Im 2 months out and a slow loser (26 pnds since surgery day) and currently in my 2nd stall so im going to be doing the phase 1 meals. It says you can lose up to 15pnds in the first 2 weeks. I need that!!!! Of course the amounts of good we will probably be able to consume for one recipe is most likely half, so ill just consider the calorie count 1/2. Anybody want to give this a try with me???? i would love to see if this works being that we technically Atkins dieters anyways lol.
