Change something, if its your workout, the time you eat, what you eat, something, it may just be enough to trick your body. Good luck!

    This 1 stinkin pound

Sounds crazy but up your calories by 100-200, sometimes the body just needs a change. Make them meaningful calories, extra protien or some veggies/fruit. Don't stress over it, we all hit stalls.

Amount of protein shake to drink for breakfast?

Drink what you can just take everything slow. I usually do one scoop of protein powder to about 8 oz of water but I never get it all in.
  11. I lived on homemade soups and Greek yogurt in the beginning, also try protein shakes just take everything SLOW. Good luck!
  12. I only weigh myself every two weeks at my doctors office, luckily it's right up the road :-). I have started stepping on my own scale, I may to throw it away....lol

What should I have for dinner?

Ahi tuna and canned tuna are night and day different. ahi tuna is very moist and basically eaten raw, really high in protein :-). Hope you pick something yummy, I hate eating out, it seems like a chore and I waste most of the food. We do Japanese and I eat and appetizer and it feeds me for two to three meals.

What should I have for dinner?

I ate seared ahi tuna about 2.5 weeks out, just slow but it dissolves in your mouth.....yummy, still a weekly staple in my diet.
  15. You get used to the noises :-). I know people 3 years out and they still make noise, just part of the surgery.......

Reflux is giving me the FLUX!

Ask your doctor for Protonix, works wonders. My doctor hade me on it for the first two months. Try a piece of cheese if you can, it may help. I also found plain water set it off, try crystal light or add some cucumbers to your water for some flavor. Good luck
  19. Congrats!!! I had hell in the hospital as well. dont stress over the protein yet, just make sure to keep sipping, I ended up dehydrated and I felt awful. Good luck with the great new journey!

    Taking out the trash

Way to go!! I actually put a Rubbermaid tote in my closet, if it is too big it goes in there and I make a goodwill trip once its full, it's a great feeling!!!
  22. Do you have sleep apnea? If you do and are not using your mask it could be causing sleep issues, I would check with your doctor.
  23. Try frozen fruit if you can or a yogurt, usually helps!

    12 Days Post OP

I could barely eat one egg at that stage. Slow down your eating and you will probably eat less. I am 3 months out and I still have a tough time with a whole egg. You should never have pain, that is from eating too fast and you are stretching your esophagus, also you may barf, go slow :-). Good luck!!
  25. If you are working out that could stall things, your body is in shock. Try upping your calories by 100-200 if you can, your body may be in starvation mode. Hang in there, it will happen. As far as the constipation, I am in the same boat, try prune juice once a day, it makes a difference, or if you can eat an apple, they are full of fiber.
