  5. This is one of my main concerns too since i have thin hair to begin with!!! Been researching and most everyone experiences hair loss fromm your stomache and body being in shock from the surgery. Some more than others. The only thing you can do it take your protein and vitamins!!! i take or at least TRY to intake 100 grams of protein , multi vitamin , 3000 mcg of biotin( which is especially for hair loss) My calkcium and vitamin D also B 12. i think the main thing is to try and stop it before it starts happening! i alos have hair extensions lol and gonna try this beauty product from Sally Salon called X fusion! heard its the best thing for thinning hair good luck . Im pretty scared because my sister nearly went bald,Good news is it all grows back !!
  6. My thoughts exactly !!!!! Jealousy !!
  7. Sorry to hear vwhat happened to your sis! what an awful story ! To each to their own opinion though . My sister had Lap Band surgery and 2 years later is still 100 pounds thinner , her diabetes , blood pressure and every other health issue she had is no longer there. I was sleeved 12 days ago and i wouldnt change it for the world! Already down 17 pounds and counting.Nothing but a great experience for me . My sleep apnea is getting way better and feel alive again with so much energy! People can experience leaks but its risk that everyone knows before getting the surgery done. And it is a very low percentage of people. Im sure if your sisters Dr. would of caught the leak in time it wouldnt have gotten as bad. Im all for the surgery!!! I Encourage everyone and their Mothers to get it ! And anyways this is supposed to be an encouragement forum for people that are interested in getting the surgery not a scare tactic website!!

  17. dont worry the pre op diet is the hardest! Just dont put yourself in places that make it way harder for you n like dtrive thrus, or around your favorite foods! I had to be on soft food 3 days prior to surgery and the day before surgery nothing but clear liquid. The Isopure protein clear drink helped my hunger ALOT! got them at the vitamion Shoppe. As for the surgery the thing that was most painful was the GAS!!!! Walk, Walk, Walk ! Helps soooo much also dont be afraid to ask for your pain meds. Good luck to you
