I was sleeved 12/11 and was told stick to walking, riding my recumbent bike until my next followup at the end of this month.

Now! :) You should be doing plenty of walking, without overdoing it. No heavy lifting for 6 weeks - so no deadlifts at the gym ;)

I was sleeved 11 days ago ... Today was the first time back to the gym ! Just walked 1 mile. Didn't want to hurt myself , I think I'm gonna try a little bit more tommorrow

I just called my doctor's office, the nurse informed me the treadmill would be fine but not more than 30 minutes for the first week. After that I could up it a little each time. Originally, they told me to wait six weeks but I am not losing - hit a stall. I told her I'm eating 800 calories or less a day and not losing, I need to exercise.

In fact, taking my lunch break (I work at home) and getting on the treadmill now.

I was walking a mile my first week

2 miles my second week

3.5 miles week three on

Now at 5 weeks I'm running 2 miles

Walking 3 miles and back to my weight lifting
