Not to be blunt but fear is an anchor holding us down, we gotta let that **** go!!! Bad things could happen anywhere in the united states. Bad things can happen if you never even thought about having a surgery. Nobody knows their destiny. You do what you have to do for you and your baby and don't let fear hold you back anymore!

I am going alone also to Mexico. My Hubs can't take off work. Well I have a sleeve buddy but we won't be flying at the same time, just meeting up in mexico. I understand the being sared part cos I kind of am too but I've said it a million times and I'll say it again lol I'm gonna die skinny or im gonna die trying cause I am so just sick of me. You said you have a child? Then stop worrying about what other people think, I know that is easier said then done but you do this for you and your child. Nobody else really matters love.

I feel like I can somewhat relate. I'm not so sure my family is unsupportive, they just get quiet when I mention it. It bums me out because I'm really excited and i went them to be excited for me and they aren't. My husband is very supportive though so that helps. I know how much you want to have your family support you but they may not until after your surgery and they may not even then. But your verticalsleevetalk family will always support you! Message me if you just need to talk, vent, cry.. anything!!! )
  7. Heyo!!! I'm new here.. I lurk around and comment every now and then but this is my first official post. After reading a super scary post I decided to ask a few of my own questions. How many of you have had previous c-sections before weight loss surgery and how did it affect your surgery? I've had 3 c-sections and I'm reading now that scar tissue can be an issue. Kind of feeling lost as to what to do before surgery. Thanks in advance for advice and support

    WLS and C-Sections

Right on! My last c section was 14 months ago but by the time surgery is here it will be 16 months. I'm glad it was so easy for you, im hoping it will be for me too since my cesareans werent a problem.

    WLS and C-Sections

Aww thank you, you're the best! Day 5, that's awesome! I really had no problems with any of my c-sections. I often got comments of why I was walking around and shopping instead of in bed. So that makes me feel relieved about recovery for WLS. Although I haven't really been nervous about the rcovery part just the surgery part.

    WLS and C-Sections

That makes me happy because my c-sections were a breeze. It just fet like I did a thousand sit ups but I was good to go after a couple hours.

    WLS and C-Sections

No he didnt mention it but I read about a woman that had scar tissue and the surgeon cut into a bowel because he couldnt see thankfully she is okay but it scared me a little bit.
