  1. Almost 40

Wow! Amazing girl. Keep up the good work. Is that pre op too or just after surgery? I'm curious cause I was sleeved July 19th and am down 35 pre op and 24 since surgery. Weight is coming off slower now. I want to make sure I'm losing the right amount for how Long I have been out. Thanks.

  2. call doc on the heartburn in the morning. There are many who take meds for it. I have actually doubled up on my meds and I'm about to start my 3rd mo.

    Good luck!

Thank you:). I take Prilosec but I'm thinking I'm going to have to double up on it too. It's an awful feeling.

  3. I have been stuck @ 300 lbs for the past few days :( really have to try to stop weighing myself everyday especially now that the weight is not moving as quickly. Trying to stay positive as I know stalls are to be expected. Just did not think it would be at 2 weeks out. I can not conplain to much though as I did lose 21 lbs since my surgery on july 18th' date=' well actually since the day I came home which is when I started weighing myself. :) I wish everyone the best!!!![/quote']

I was sleeved July 19th. Day of surgery I was 277. As of today I'm 258. However, I have been 258 for a few days. I have been way more active too. I didn't know we stall that early. It's really stressing me out.

  4. Sleeved on July 22. Came home on Wednesday. Really no pain. Some occasional gas discomfort but nothing bad. I was getting all my Protein in yesterday. Still trying to get all my liquid in though. Working on it every minute. A little emotional today. All of a sudden weeping over I don't know what. Not much of a crier' date=' so not liking this at all. My poor hubby keeps asking what he can do. Does the emotional stuff go away soon?

Sent from my iPhone using VST[/quote']

I pray it does. I have been emotional too. I know everyday will get better.

  5. Hi Debbie' date='

Im right there with you I was sleeved on the 15th. I had a mental break down yesterday but that was due to PMS :/ any how its hard for me to get all the fluids down! My doc wants me to get 64oz. In this is extract hard for me. I have not yet met this goal. Congrats on your sleeve and good luck :)[/quote']

I had a mental break down yesterday:(. My husband thinks I'm nuts right now. It's hard but I know will be totally worth it. I was sleeved July 19th. I'm down 17lbs since surgery. How about you?

  6. Just checking in with you July sleevers. I was sleeved July 19th. I ended up spending 2 nights in the hospital. Honesty I would have stayed 3 if they wanted me to. I had the best nurses. The day of surgery I weighed 277. As of today, 7 days from surgery I weigh 263. I'm so happy. I'm a little on the tired side but I'm doing day by day. The best decision I have made in a long time was to have WLS. Any questions, you can email me @ jenray83@yahoo.com. I am hear to help you all and answer any questions you may have. Gods luck and god bless :)

  7. Today is my 6th day since surgery. I'm feeling so much better. The pain is almost all gone. I'm still pretty tired and weak but everyday I'm improving. I'm down 21lbs since the first day of my pre op diet, which was July 9th. I'm just taking it day by day. Any questions, feel free to ask or email me @ jenray83@yahoo.com

  8. The pre-op can be a little hard. Especially the first 3 days. My worst days were 1-3. I ended up having to do a month of pre-op due to surgery being rescheduled. I have to tell you that I thank God that I had to do it. Even though at times was very difficult it taught me how to cope with the fact that my life was going to change forever. I am 8 weeks out today and am happier than ever. I wish you the best of luck.

    Advice:

    1. Drink low sodium chicken or beef stock. That helped me tremendously

    2. SF popsicles got me through a lot of tough moments.

    3. Plan on a different way of coping with stress and anxiety. Mine was' date=' and still is, walking. I walk all the time. It produces that calming feeling I used to get from eating.

    4. Read these forums and get support, daily if you have to. That helped me tremendously.

    5. Go to bed early. Get plenty of rest.[/quote']

Thank you so much. I appreciate it. Are you on solids yet?
