  1. Avitae caffeine water comes in 2 strengths one has as much as a soda the other as much as coffee. Very nice clean tasting water and doesn't give me heartburn the way coffee does
  2. Unjury protein'd cheese sauce added to a bit of soup they also have a chicken soup flavored protein that is pretty good...you can get a sample variety pack on their web site to try some flavors and they have a lot of recipe ideas
  3. Look up Bob Harper (biggest loser) he is well over 35, he has a lot of info out there, he is into crossfit big time not o mention he has an awesome body!
  4. Wow for this reason I am glad I have a job where the only person who knows me is my husband, I have 3 grown kids who are excited and supportive for me and for once im happy to say I have not one friend and im glad because I dont know how I would go about it...to tell or not to tell hmmm
  5. Love me a skinny vanilla latte decaf maybe once a week right now but im still pre op, I have been experimenting with making my own at home with protein..had an iced vanilla the other day not half bad
  6. How fun! Congrats to you, im still about 2 months pre op but I did dig out 4 boxes of clothes from storage the other day, sizes ranging from 26 to 18. I sorted them into piles and looking forward to the day I can find them a new home!
  7. Im currently going thru a 6 month program also, that issue was covered on my first visit but I had mine out years ago, so if they dont mention it be sure to ask
  8. Why shouldn't you feel good? I can understand being sore or some discomfort after but your not sick, most of us are probably pretty healthy the day of surgery. And mentally, which plays a part, this is one of the best days of our lives. So yeah feeling good should be normal, just my thought
  9. You can get sugar free ones at walmart, they have a few flavors, its a way to add different flavors to shakes, yogurt etc..I also use baking extracts.. couple drops of banana flavoring in a chocolate shake mmm
  10. Not sure ages of your kids but focus more on just getting moving than a structured work out plan since you say your really out of shape..have activity hour where you and your kids dance, toss a ball, hop scotch any type of movement not only will it get you moving but get some kid energy out and be fun. Also do you have a ymca maybe swimming with them
  11. Im still pre op but have been on here awhile and this seems to be a common thing having a stall 4 to 5 weeks out do some searching for those threads but it will happen your body is still adjusting, just follow doctors and NUT. ..good luck
  12. Find the add friends section, where it says add with email you put im the persons user name or email which ever you have
  13. I was told to take Flintstones Complete they are not to bad
  14. Ya because of my job and lifestyle I don't get much if any exercise in a day heck some days I do less than a 1000 steps so I needed something that focuses more on what my body is burning in a day ...since everyone is different I didn't want something that just followed a formula. On the days I work I burn about 2200 calories in 24 hours...the days I'm home I burn 3000 or more just doing everyday life things not exercise....the other trackers don't work that way
  15. It measures on all activity not just steps
  16. O cool, hope it works good for you!
  17. Kinda like having a baby, I think almost every women says I will never do that again after the birth ah but how soon we forget the pain and discomfort and enjoy the fruits of our labor! Happy healing
  18. Awesome! Thoughts are with you
  19. Ok I did some reading, hard to find reviews on the flex, you would think when they unveiled it at the tech show they would have given some out to fitness mags to use and review. But the main difference I'm seeing is the fitbit estimates your calories burn and you only get credit for movement. Bodybugg has sensors that contact your skin to monitor the temp of your body along with other things so it's tracking your body function not just if you moving or still. Example -I drive truck, with any type of pedometer device it counts steps when I am driving and sleeping because it registers the bouncing of my body so not accurate but even though my bug records steps the same way if I sit and pedal it also measures how warm my body gets as to the level of activity I'm burning. Sorry this was long I like the look of the flex and the no fee just not sure if it would work for me have to wait for reviews for you guys lol!
  20. I have to say the fitbit flex looks pretty cool and the fact it's waterproof and no monthly fee and works with MFP, hmmm I'm gonna check it out a bit more I might switch from my bug
