  1. I would say relax...probably just water weight that will drop fairly quickly, that happened to me mostly around my time of month.
  2. I like snacking on bariwise chocolate chip biscotti...it's almost like a cookie but with just a little sweetness. They are 15 cal's and 1Gm protein per biscotti, so 5 fills me up (sometimes not that many) for 75 cal's and 5gm's protein is good for me...I can't afford non-protein snacks yet.
  3. Thanks...he is definitely clueless! Lol. I am now feeding my son my favorite treat...might still chuck it or throe it at the hubs head?
  4. My hubs brought me areeses peanut butter bunny for Valentine's day. :'( it's really annoying...he never did that when I could eat it!
  5. I am 9 weeks out this week and down 59 pounds down and I have been doing great and am happy with my results this far. I have heard others complain about hormones and feeling crazy and I thought...hmmm glad that's not me. Well, I don't know if it's the pain I have been having this week, my stress levels being a little high or what but I am officially feeling crazy this week! I have had multiple time outs from my toddler today....slammed doors because I was angry with my hubby (I was right but still! lol), I just feel a little (alot) off my rocker today and think I needed to vent here because no one else will get it. I hope this resolves quickly because I hate feeling crazy and acting irrationally! I am going to the surgical PA tomorrow, so hopefully she can help me with my pain issues...I am sure that will do a lot towards bringing me back down.
  6. That's too bad...sometimes you can find some on craigslist or eBay too!
  7. I found some xl ones at goodwill this last weekend! Only 3 bucks a piece!
  8. I was 325 on the day of surgery 12-11-12 and I am now 270. 55 pounds gone and a lot more to go!
  9. Congrat's! Sometimes it is those little things that catch us and say 'hey, you are still doing great because you couldn't do that before'!
  10. This is very common, I did not feel restriction until I started eating the soft foods, I wondered the same thing and then...bam that too full feeling hits you and you never question it again! lol
  11. Congratulations on your loss so far and good luck on your continued journey! You look fabulous!
  12. I wish I had the answer for you...I want grapes! lol I just want to pop a few in the freezer for a snack. I am a little irritated with my doc's office for getting me so behind in my appointments, my nut only gave me a diet guideline up to 6 weeks and I won't see her again until 8 weeks. Last time I was there she said no fruit or beans or anything much other than lean protein meat, lf cheese, and eggs. I have been adding a few things as I tolerate them though. I might just take a chance on the grapes, it's not like I want to eat a whole serving.
  13. Yay, congrat's! I just realized while walking through meijer the other day though that misses is like 90% of the female clothes at meijer and 10% is woman's plus sizes. I thought misses and juniors were for young people too? Apparently not.
  14. Congratulations on your loss, you have lost so much! I love seeing fun little nsv's too, they are the reasons we did this. It must have been nice to run into that ex, I can imagine the uh huh I look good feeling! lol Good luck on your continued journey!
  15. Wow, such an inspirational story! You make me feel like I can run a 5 k!
  16. How much protein are you getting in? I eat maybe 3 to 4 times a day, but it's all protein. oatmeal with milk for breakfast or a shake. Lunch might be a turkey sausage and dinner chicken with some soup to moisten and veggies.
  17. I am not ever hungry so I'm not dealing with hunger but I certainly crave things. I do as someone above said...tell myself I will be able to eat these things again, just not yet! There are things my body needs a lot more than what I am craving. I did have a french fry (just one) and 5 reeses pieces candies and amazingly enough was satisfied with that little amount. I am also having crazy potato chip cravings and I never even ate them pre-op! lol
  18. You really look great! Congratulations on coming so far and good luck continuing the journery!
  19. You both look absolutely amazing!
  20. Wow, you look really great! Congratulations!
  21. I was sleeved on 12-11-12 and am down 53 lbs so ffar. I am following my guidelines and really don't count calories yet but eat 2 to 3 times a day and drink one protein drink. Good luck to everyone! :-)
