My fullness is more in my throat...not my belly. I rarely eat enough to feel it though...it's kind if uncomfortable.
  2. Ha, I just bought one yesterday...going to bring it to work! I love the convenience!
  3. It's the healing...makes it itchy!
  4. I was so happy when I could drink water again! The funny thing is now it's all I drink. Lol. Once in a while I'll have a crystal light but I really like to limit the sugar substitutes.
  5. I'm 6 months out and haven't tried pasta or rice so not sure about those. Bread doesn't work...a few bites and my sleeve is rolling. I can eat steak but it sits very heavy so I don't eat it very often. Everything else seems to go okay.
  6. I had surgery 12-11-12 and weighed 325, now I weigh 210! 115 pounds down and can't wait for onederland!
  7. I'm 5 months out also but I don't think a 6 inch sub is something I could eat. I can however eat more lately than before. I had (almost) a whole fish taco yesterday with two chips, definitely more than I have been able to eat in the past and the other day I ate almost a whole half of a wrap. I still don't eat real bread through...just flat breads/tortillas and such. Laura is right, this is when our real work begins! This is when we need to make smart decisions, even when our body allows us to make poor ones!
  8. I completely understand! I got into tge teens this week, it made me feel like onederland is possible!
  9. I quit smoking 1 month before surgery and I am now 5 months post op and continue to be smoke free! I feel so much better without the smokes but it is definitely difficult to quit!
  10. I am 5 months out and I can drink water pretty comfortably these days!
  11. I have been really lucky to lose so much, I don't eat a lot of variety though. I usually eat taco cupcakes or one kind of like manicotti for at least one meal a day. I eat at least one protein bar a day sometimes a baby bel or two and a handful of nuts I also get almond crackers and the laughing cow wedges too. I also sometimes have grilled chicken or steak for dinner with a few veggies. I occasionally have some frozen greek yogurt too. Not much variety but it works for me right now.

  13. Congratulations! I can't imagine how that feels...I am 20 pounds away and need to start working my butt off because I can't wait!!!!
  14. I love these but make mine with mushroom, onion and add black olives as well...super delicious!
  15. I use them once in a while when Tylenol doesn't seem to cut it but I am not in the habit of it. My doc says no to nsaids too.
  16. I was sleeved 12-11-12 starting weight 325 and now 224, down 101 lbs! Living life is amazing! ♥
  17. Check out the muffin tin meal recipes. emilybites.com and thworldaccordingtoeggface.com I have gotten several ideas from them and I will make a batch or two a week. I love bringing them to work or eating at home...the portions are great! I make a manicotti-like one, a taco one, and also did meatloaf (not my fave). I have also tried some dessert ones too! Anyway, I absolutely love these and it's nice to eat something real just small!
  18. I was an absolute nutcase for a while! :-( I'm still married and have all my friends though! Hang in there!
  19. I am also thinking about changing jobs or going back to school!
  20. Tink!!!!!! I can't like this because I love it! I am so happy for you with your weight loss and your new confidence that is allowing you to take such a big step. I cannot wait to hear an update on this. I have noticed that I have more confidence as well, I am making changes in my appearance and am also more outgoing!
