Congrats. I was also sleeved on the 30th. sleeping has been an adventure but it's been getting better. The gas has been crazy but walking helps out a lot. I think I'm burning a hole in the rug in my living room.

I'm holding up well. Just been really tired and gassy. But I have been walking and drinking plenty of Water and Protein Shakes to stay hydrated.

Well I'm a little over 12 hours away from my surgery and I'm becoming more and more excited. Today I was my liquid diet day and it went by very quick and easy. How are my fellow January Sleevers holding up?

Hi Corey, my date is Jan 29, we can be surgery buddies. My doctor doesnt do a two week diet prior, just 3 days. I wish he did so I could get in the hand of just having liquids.

the dr. had to move it . hes going out of town on that friday and said he dont like to leave after he does a sleeve so we had to move it one week .. :ph34r:

Oh okay. So you get an extra week of the diet. That's a good thing.

Yes she is. That's great. I guess is just a matter of what time they will schedule us. I hope mine is in the morning. Did you start your liquid diet yet?

Jenn said Overlook will call the day before and let us know what time it will take place. I'm with you I want it first thing in the morning. I kinda started. I don't officially start it until next week. But I went out and got some Isopure from the Vitamin Shoppe. They are going to take some getting use to as far as taste goes. Have you started yours yet?

I'm havin mines done 10am tommorow I'm so excited but now soooo nervous!!! Arghhhh!!

Finally drifted off about 1:30 but had to get up a couple of times to get rid of all the Water I pounded before midnight. On the way to the hospital now. Good luck all you 10th sleevers!

Corey what state are u from? What your starting weight and what is your goal?

I'm in Jersey and I'm currently at 320. My goal is 225. How about yourself?

Hello everyone. I'm scheduled for 1/30/13. I'm now 1 week away from starting my 2 week diet.

I'm also scheduled for 1/30/13. I'm just getting myself mentally prepared for it. So far so good.

I was thinking about about this issue once I got word I was approved for my surgery. After reading all of your comments I feel much better about the situation.

First my name is Corey and I think this is a great idea for people to introduce themselves. I'm married to a wonderful woman and I'm also the proud father of two beautiful girls. My surgery date is Jan 30th 2013 and I'm looking forward to a new lease on life. My current weight is 320 lbs and I'm hoping to reach my target weight of 225 lbs. I'm looking to meet some great people here to share stories and hopefully answer some questions I may have while I embark on this Journey. Good luck to all.
