  1. It is hard to not get discouraged, weighting everyday is a easy way to get discouraged though, so don't. I doubt you're retaining water, I'm sure its just the regular weight fluctuation that we all see if we weigh daily. If smaller clothes are fitting you're on the right track, also keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat
  2. I had staples, but i wouldn't regiment trying to removing anything by yourself with express permission and instructions from your Dr. i don't know much about mx surgeries but don't you have to stay in mx for like 9 days after your surgery? Why not just let the Dr do it. Idk I'm pretty conservative about that stuff though
  3. Your weight fluctuates daily, that's why its recommended to only weigh once a week. Wait till next Thursday and you'll see that its gone back down. Try not to be discouraged by the scales, are you doing measurements as well?
  4. Try warm water. Or regular temp crystal light
  5. How are they price wise compared to crystal light?
  6. Lol i know huh!! I think it's a play on injury, on UNjury, as in you won't get injured cuz of the protein. The chicken i don't love lol
  7. As for the water thing, I've seen that a lot!! What I've seen that works for me I'd Cristal light, i like the lemonade, i use more water than it calls for, i used to love water!! What are you eating? What's on your diet at this point?
  8. I'm glad everything went well for you!! i have a question, not for you specifically :-) i thought the requirements for this surgery to be done on the U.S. were like 40 with no co morbidities and 35 with at least 2 Co morbidities? Obviously that isn't the case?

  10. Def let your Dr know, im sure it won't hinder anything but you want the person who's going to be doing the surgery know what they're up against. Every Dr is way different, there's 3 in the office i go to and they each have different rules
  11. I have very healthy teeth, i was not worried about my teeth, i was worried about my pouch, thank you.
  12. I'm hoping water will become my new fave again soon!!
  13. You're just a weirdo. Lol jk jk!! To funny, i hadn't heard of anybody naming their sleeve but i like it!!
  14. Drs office sent over a prescription for nausea, but the pharmacy was extremely slow, i was in a different city and had the dr call it to there but by the time i was ready to go home pharmacy said another 2 hours!!! So i said screw it and went home. I'm feeling quite a bit better but have to thank you for the crystal light lemonade recommendation, i had been having a hard time getting enough water, it just tastes nasty, which is really weird cuz I'm a person who like only drinks water, but today i got much closet to my liquid intake with the cl lemonade.
  15. ^ lol I'm sorry your "update"has me cracking up!!
  16. I was 2 weeks clear, I'm in 2 weeks full now, blended and stained cream soups are allowed with my Dr in the full liquid stage. Then 3 weeks soft, then start to slowly introduce a regular bariatric diet. I'd say follow drs orders
  17. Thanks guys, I can't wait for the Dr office to open!! I'm trying to drink water bit MSN its making me more nauseous, after the kids ate asleep I'm gonna try to venture downstairs and see if the smell has dissipated at all so i can try something other than water
  18. Desk = deal, I'm on my phone sorry
  19. I cooked ham and beans in the crock pot for the family and the whole downstairs smells like that i can't even be down there, i got home and thought i was going puke instantly, hubbys finally home to desk with the kids I'll ask him to bring me warm water in a little bit. I don't have any of the other things you listed. I do have cinnamon tea. And i have peppermint extract, any luck with either of those? Also i may have ground ginger
  20. No, no zofran, I'm gonna call the Dr tomorrow I'll mention that, is it anti nausea medicine? I want even thinking about the lime, i was only thinking about the baking soda. Thank you
  21. I was sleeved on 12/10 and still on a full liquid diet. Before surgery whenever i had an upset stomach i would put baking soda on a lime and bite it, something my hispanic husbands Mom taught me. My Dr has instructed me no carbonated beverages. I've had an upset stomach all day, and his office if now closed, what do you guys think, would it be ok?
