  6. When was your surgery? I am also 320 and loving life!
  7. My highest BMI was 64. I was 230lbs in 6th grade. Today my BMI is 45. We can do it!
  8. My highest weight was 476lbs. I lost 130lbs prior to surgery (6 months) and was sleeved on November 27th (surgery weight: 345). I have lost 25lbs since surgery (today: 320). Best decision ever. Can honestly say I had no pain or nausea. At all. Listen to your body, go slow, walk as much as you can and as soon as they will let you out of bed! Progressed to a soft diet yesterday. Worst part was the sore throat, not being able to have any liquids to soothe said throat and the port coming out. Best of luck to you! Hoping to lose 160 more pounds. I am almost halfway there! (I'm 5'11'' by the way).

  11. I am almost a month out and can tell you it was the best thing I ever did. No pain, no nausea. Nothing. Honestly. Didn't take pain medication at all, not even in the hospital. Walk immediately and a lot! It helps significantly. You will find foods to eat. Ricotta bake is wonderful! So much easier post-op than pre-op because you aren't hungry. Down 23lbs in 27 days. Totally worth it Own and acknowledge your fears, but don't let them take over your mind.

  14. I was sleeved on November 27, 2012 and hit my 150lbs lost milestone yesterday. So excited! I lost 130lbs during the 6 months prior to surgery and 20lbs since my surgery less than a month ago. Can't say enough good things re: my surgeon. No pain or nausea. AT ALL!! Best Christmas present ever HW: 476 SW: 345 CW: 324 GW: 160 (almost half way there!)
  15. I was 476lbs when I got out of the hospital on May 2nd this year (wasn't sleeved at that time). I lost 130lbs over the next 6.5 months and had my surgery (sleeve) on November 27th. Down 13lbs since my surgery 9 days ago. Total: 144lbs down and 332lbs this morning My goal weight is 160lbs. Surgery was amazing. No pain. No nausea. Nothing. Very happy with my decision. Best of luck to you. I understand the long weight loss road.
  16. November 27th in St. Louis. No pain, swelling or nausea. Amazing experience. Lost 130lbs during the 6 months prior to surgery. Hope to lose another 185lbs
