  1. I think (could be completely wrong) it is when you weigh less than 200lbs, ex. 198lbs. Head hunger is when your head tells you to eat, but you don't physically feel the need. For instance, most of the time I get hungry when watching tv, even if I only ate dinner an hour before. Boredom is one of my big triggers of head hunger.

  2. Ok I'm not saying you should do it, but I'm going to assume you are an adult capable of self-determination. If you do decide to do this, do your research first, real research, not asking a bunch of sleevers that may or may not have any concrete experience or advice. One thing to consider, neither drug must be taken orally to "reap the benefits", as it were.

  3. My grandmother was thrilled when I said I was having the surgery. She was so excited that I would be thin and pretty again. She also said that she would support me if I chose not to stay with my husband after I was skinny enough to find a better man.

I love my husband, he was my best friend for 7 years before we even began dating, and he knew me skinny and fat. He has a very lucrative career, and treats me better than any man before him. I have no intention of ever leaving him. I take my vows seriously.

My grandpa, on the other hand, was really upset and scared for me. He said I didn't need it, and that it wasn't worth risking my life for. He supported my choice in the end, but I had to really educate him about it.

I much preffered my grandfathers response. Our parents should be concerned and a little apprehensive when we have any type of surgery, whether for emergencies or "elective". I

  4. Thanks for all of your input! It is def going to be a test! I was thinking of having a "practice" meal sometime this week and see how that goes. I guess I only have myself to blame for this, I picked the menu 4 months ago, not thinking ahead to what I could eat.

I was also going to tell the bartenders to pour heavy, maybe if I get em drunk they really won't notice, lol!!!

  5. Any advice for eating with people who don't know you have had surgery?

Next weekend I am hosting a ladies lunch and I will be expected to eat. The menu is steak, grilled asparagus, scalloped potatoes and a spinach and strawberry salad. As of this Wednesday 1/23 I will be cleared to eat all foods. My question is, how do I "eat" so that they don't notice I'm barely eating? I would prefer to not mention my surgery to these women, as they do love their gossip, and I only see them once a year for this lunch. The lunch is a must-attend, my grandmother hosted them for 20 years before passing the torch to me.
